I used very common boxes found at Hobby Lobby and reinforced the straps and interior.

The first kit I made I used a similar box as Shubro. The kind found at Hobby and arts and crafts stores...mine was rectangular (I believe they're called "home decor boxes". Intended for display.
The downside is that they're a bit flimsy.

The other kits I made from vintage jewelry boxes found in EBay.

For my first kit I tried a craft box....

The downside is that they're a bit flimsy.

However, as I was attaching some outside decorations I cracked a side panel of the box while I was moving it and dropped :cry

So I went forward and built my own... Not too hard, but quite a bit more work....

Here is one I made in a old book I found at a thrift store
