Hey, FreakT, which part was the motion sensor? Was it the separate capacitor like component labeled SW3?I just bridge the motionsensor and removed the wires from the speaker
Now when i turn the disc on "I" it will do the program it does after moving, i mean the circle LED program on the outside ring, after a minute, the disk turns off, than you have to push the reactivate button and then it starts to bring all the random program in a row and again and again and again.
That is the easiest way to do it i think

can somebody tell me the size difference between the deluxe version and the basic?
My only problem is that I have no idea how to wire something like this.
If anyone could give me some resources, how to's or would even be able to work with me for a few hours over aim or something that would be awesome.
Thank you! Originally I wasn't sure what that piece was for. I like your mod since it keeps the light patterns! And so easy.Hi Light Runner, my english is a bit rusty and its hard for me to explain in english but here are the pictrues, realy easy.
I briged the red and the black cable... thats all.
I'd look up the use of micro controllers. If you have no electronics or programming background it can be confusing. However, there are probably free programs out there you could modify. There are some people doing disc mods with micro controllers and have blogs and what not. You could probably get more detailed with help talking to those people or programming/electronics forum after researching first.
I can't really start playing with the controllers until I have more time. You could always get the disk setup with lighting the way you want it. Then later rewire it after that is all done. It would require a lot of rewiring but at least you have a completed disc and get comfortable with your setup. If computers aren't your thing, I'd setup something simple for now if your itching for a disc. There will probably be more complete write ups down the road as people are still figuring out a good setup themselves.
I bought them from a Chinese seller on ebay. I know virtually nothing about electrical wiring but these were incredibly easy to hook up. It helps that they're already in a strip so all you have to worry about is what wire at the end is positive and which is negative.
