Those AlpineNYC Jackets, on average, cost about $250-$300 retail. :lol There are very similar ones at Burlington Coat Factory (I found a few in January that were almost dead on to these) for about $40-$60.
As to Flynn's Retro Boots...
Here's another great shot. You can clearly see the boot here. Its not as clean and cool as we thought. It has alot of small (not so cool) strappy stuff going on. Taking the height of them, and that straps into account, its more likely a modified motocross boot, than a motorcycle boot. I think I'll go with similar, but not SA.
Also, for those who are stickler's for detail, if you look at his wrist, you will notice that he is wearng a long sleeved shirt.

I know people got them as part of the ARG, but repros are showing up on ebay. Just search for "flynn lives shirt" and you'll get plenty of results. So glad to see that all you guys had a blast and Security didn't ruin your fun, (so sorry that you were excluded, Annisse... They couldn't stop you from wearing the wig, though. Ha) makes me wish I could go to elecTRONica... or that Disney would have done anything over here. Did anybody get away with having a Jacket with a Disc Hub? For being so strict, they let a lot of clearly-TRON stuff past the radar. I'm so glad so many elaborate designs made it inside.

About Flynn, I've been putting together/upgrading a Psuedo-Flynn get up, with the one strip down the right side. My own designs, but borrowing a bit from Flynn's jacket (as many of the Civilian Programs do in Legacy) and I was researching the boots as well. I originally thought that they were the same boots, but the original ones and what Flynn wears when he leaves his Hideout are indeed completely different. The circuits on the later ones are lower on the foot, almost mirrored of the older ones and longer.
For anyone doing the cheaper method, Walmart sells rain boots that fit the bill for about $20. So, anyone going the Civilian route and can't drop a lot of money on the shoes, walmart has some options.

This makes me sad I had to leave early. Looked like it progressively got even mroe fun
Had a great time tonight.
We met up at 5 and proceeded to light up the haunted house until we got the "please turn off all lighting devices" over the intercom. Took a spin on the thunder mountain railroad. Then got some ice cream before heading over to elecTRONica.
Then 17 of us got hooked up by lucy liu to go into the fast pass line for the group Tower of Terror shot. Hit up the arcade for a bit. I even got out and danced and I DON'T dance. Now I wish my annual pass wasn't expiring.
And no security guard even approached me while wearing this tonight:

I just recieved the delivery notice... my custom made Flashback Flynn jacket has arrived! There are a few things that didn't turn out the way I had hoped, But overall I think its a pretty reasonable facsimile.
I could nitpick it to death, but I won't. It's still a sweet jacket.

No, it's not Leathercult. It's a company from Thialand with leather from Pakistan. Its not bad at all. I gave measurements from a well fitting jacket but it still ended up a little off. Though to be fair, fits much better than one would be off the rack ever would.
I have a few minor grievances, but since it was all done without ever meeting in person, its about the best you can get. The quality seems pretty reasonable. PM me if you want some more info.

Much less than one would expect. $149 from Tailormadejackets.com with the shipping included. The hard part is getting everything right without being able to communicate in person, try it on, or change your mind. I can't speak to its durability (obviously) but the quality seems good enough.
The good news for all of you guys, is that if you want one, they have my design. I could contact them and let them know there will be more orders. I would assume you would just need to give your measurements, or order a standard S, M, L etc. Who knows, maybe they will even name it after me. lol.
I should mention though, that I had the side straps removed and opted for a snap button collar rather than velcro. I hate velcro. Just something to keep in mind if you end up ordering one.
Oh, and Gams. I haven't forgotten about you. I should be mailing your disc mount in the next day or so.
I cannot even wait for my ID Disc mod kit... this halloween is going to be so sick.

Director Joe K. says the story will be about Quorra & Sam's relationship. This will include how she is able to exist in our world. The villan will be Dillinger Jr. Played by Cillian Murphy. I hope this story will somehow take place back in the computer world. Does anyone think that the new ENCOM operating system being so secure is overseen by a new master control program? "It's all part of the plan!" Dillinger Jr.
As I write this the Script is being written at present for Disney's approval. Will keep you posted!
