Wow and wow mate your an awesome sculptor well done the detail is superb and amazing great work quick question are you also sculpting the chest belt on it,its
a lot easier to have that on it as well
Termokk, that sculpt is just absolutely wicked man. The ab muscles don't look like you stole them off "The Situation" & give it that great Predator feel to it. I can't imagine what else you have left to do on the torso apart from preparing it for the molding process man.
Well here you go predator_addict! Funny i was doing just that last night, we have been having alot of snow, and i finaly got my clay in, so i was spending some time sculpting and tinkering. I spent a little more time on the right shoulder and on the belt, and got it mostly roughed in. Still got alot more work to do but basic shapes keep taking shape. And yes my workplace has become a mess... lol Thanks everyone for your comments!
Quick update- i flipped the sculpture around and started working on the back. It was still pretty rough back there so i have been refining and sampling some texture to see if i like it. I am going to change the shoulder a bit more but this is the process im going through. MEANGENE83, thanks for the compliments, i want to get this puppy moulded before i start bartering with them. I am still debating what to use on the moulds, i had origionaly planned to use polyester resin because of the weight issue involved with ultra-cal, but now that im doing the gauntlets separate its not as bad. I realy only plan to cast latex out of this mould so im starting to lean back twards ultra-cal 30 again. Any thoughts?
Badass looking sculpt Corey, you got some lethal sculpting skills up yer sleeve. I too love clay slinging and stuff like this makes me want to do some of my own!
Yea i started going a little too reptilian in there i think. I have been working on the other side a bit more today, and i wanted to use a slightly different texture. Not quite as scaley, more of a sun baked, leathery skin with a scaley feel. I think i like this beter than the other side, but i am always open to hear opinions. I have also been redoing the shoulder bell, its roughed in now, just have to smooth it and carve out the detail. Thanks for commenting, and looking!
