That is some sweet action, I know we all have been waiting for this day
nice work there corey, glad it came out well for you! just wondered why didnt you use a silicone mould with a fibreglass jacket,as ive seen on here b4?is there a partiqular reason!?
Good luck getting your hand inside the arm to paint the seams... Looks good man, I can't wait to order one.
I was reading how you mentioned that you paint the latex coats in the molds when they are attached, then attach them and paint in the seams. When you go to attach them, wouldn't the latex fall out of the molds once it's put upside-down, or do you stand it straight up? Just a bit confused on this part.
I painted about 4-6 coats into the moulds wile they are separated, then i lift the front peice onto the back (laying down). The latex is thick enough that it wont fall off. Then i paint the seams and add a few more aditional coats. I have one almost done in there now, we will see how it came out soon.
hey cory! im gonna be down at my parents end of june beginning of july. if you have a cast out i would love to try one on. i have a feeling it would be big but i'd like to see. if you wouldnt mind that is.. maybe we could get some sushi!
cheers man. the mold looks awesome.

Excellent work!!!!
Great looking mold.
How much of the original sculpt survived the molding process?
You shouldn't have to do that.
Thicken up your latex, glob it on the edge of your mold walls and put the two halves together. Let dry and demold. The seams will bond to each other that way. May take some practice....but running your arms in such a large mold for seaming wont exactly be fun when you can let the mold do the work for you.
Looking good.
