Will take pics this weekend and upload guys :thumbsup

Had a few attempts at this as m wiring was wrong the first time:lol and then I blew LED's and all kinds of stuff went wrong but the end result was well worth it.

I'm looking forward to seeing it as well!

I never got the eyes done. I still need to re-do the wiring in the hands, (if not the WHOLE hands themselves!); though I do like how my palms turn on and off.

Greetings!

Follow the link to a quick video of the debut of my modified TMP masterpiece. There is no matching paint here in the United States, so I ended up using a Ford Auto Paint and the gold paint mentioned earlier in this thread.

This masterpiece is going to be used to educate children. But I cant walk around them without being able to see very well and I have to be able to talk to them. So, the visor and lower jaw are fully electromechanically lifted/opened and closed at the touch of a button. The eyes light up on visor down position. Also, a 6watt amp is activated to give me an electronic booming voice.

Oh yeah. There are 11 super bright LEDs in each eye. 11 super bright LEDs in each repulsor ray and 33 super bright LEDs in the mini arc. All together, 10 9volt batteries and 6 1.5 volt batteries for the amp.

I am wearing 4.25" tall shoes so they make me 6'3" tall.

Sorry for the lack of audio. Youtube wont let the track play in the background......."IRON MAN" by Ozzy =)

Take good care. John...your masterpiece is definitely one of a kind. I love the new production. I hope you like the changes I made out of necessity, namely not having the same paint and needing the visor to move. :)

I knew you were talented and but i would never imagine how this would look based on what you said you had plans for to do with it. You achieved something far beyond what i imagined.

The FX lid is amazing.
This in the movie took several technicians to pull of and they ended using CGI for the final cut because they could not achive what they wanted. ... You pulled this of so NICELY!!!

Welcome to the team ;)

WoW!!! The helmet is amazing, as is the rest, but the helmet...

Must know secret.

WHOA! HOLY MOLEY! That helmet articulation rules!!!!! I've seen the moving face piece in the past, but never the jaw moving in sync as well as the eyes lighting up only when the face is connected together. I am blown away here. :eek

Like everyone else said, tutorial please.

Also, you mentioned repainting your suit in American colors. I was considering repainting my whole suit next summer with easily available American colors, too, since it seems extremely hard to get the automotive spraypaints TMP used to paint our suits over here. What colors did you get?
