Nice work Chad!, you wear the suit very well mate, it seems to move great on you! I've just realised something after watching that video, I think I need to remove the small screws that keep my Red forearms in place and attached to my Gold lower arms? this causes me to stiffness in the arm and not enough movement.

Great Video! :thumbsup

no 8th is the final one. The rest of the updates are in the suit which has not yet been released apart from the latest pics of it in grey.

Well done, Chad ! That kind of event is awesome to do. :thumbsup
That kid at the end staring at you as you walk off is priceless. :lol

Now seeing the video of your rotating forearms, that is pretty cool. It wouldn't be as easy to do with my suit. You said your two parts were connected together with a screw. Mine are riveted in place.

Thanks you two!

Andy, if you think your arms are mong enough...drill those rivots out bro. Not having those gauntlents affixed to the bicep really changes the whole thing. You don't have to keep your arm as straight as a 2x4 plank :lol

Keep in mind though, if you seperate em, you'll have to most likely come up with a way of keeping the gauntlet straight. You don't want those things rotating around your wrist freely and risking a missle cover getting snagged on something and coming off.

My gauntlets are permantly attached to my gloves..that's how they move in sync. I have pics somewhere inthis thread...probably around page 67-85.

DecaturVader,

Outstanding job!
I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic in a large metropolitan City and have been doing public education for over 14 years. We go to the schools and present a life and fire safety education program for the kids. We do themes each year. We've done some pretty cool things in the past such as "Titanic" when that movie was really popular, and a sci-fi themed program called "Safe Trek." I was Capt. Safe T Kirk. :lol

Bottom line, I know how nervous you were. Like I said, I've been doing it for a long time, in front of thousand of kids and teachers, and even on LIVE TV Broadcasts to hundreds of thousands, and I still get nervous. It took guts to do it, even in a Mark III. You did a great job.

I too have a TMP masterpiece that I'm modifying for me for upcoming educational programs. I will post pics and video when that happens in the next couple of months. I know John's chest must be sticking out with pride seeing his creation bring joy to the kids. :cheers

Take good care.

PS An old Ringling Brothers clown saying is: "If you ain't sweatin', you ain't clownin'" Im sure when you were done with the school you were soaked!

So Mr. Fett's helmet on post #1168 - is that a Version 8 or earlier?

It's very hard to tell when helmets are photographed at nonstandard distances.
