Iron Man COSTUME : New pictures page 8

Starting to look like something. Will have some more shots up late this week after some suit trial tests.

Thanks for the great comments team, very much appreciated :thumbsup

Wow ArmandB, you actually said something nice about someone's work. I'm shocked! The suit is looking pretty amazing.I especially love the paintjob.

Streetjudge,

You have a mouth only your mother could love. I do not like you and you do not like me so do not start a fight like you do with everyone else you encounter. Please do not hijack this thread as I know you are waiting to do.

Everybody be friends, ...please...or please more to an other thread, this is to show some progress stuff not give anyone a reason to jump on anyone else. That is a fair request, this thread is not for unresolved personal issues. Okay ? Thank you :) :thumbsup

Note I will get some shots up showing how the arm works with the body suit, and some other completed parts later this week. Thanks Gang :cool

Curious, can you tell us what light fixture you used on the palm? It looks like one of those simple 'stick-up' LED lamps, like the kind you just stick under a cabinets in the kitchen.

Awesome work- honestly!! I can't wait till I get a build together that can approach that quality :)

Hi Gang

Must apologize for my absence, have had some horrid computer connection issues with getting back on the RPF. Had a conflict with my anti Virus software :angry:angry.

So have not vanished and things on the suit have progressed .....:love...um...way beyond expectations :). Slight delay on the final parts for the new back armor. This new part connects to the existing back armor and has the look of something with airfoils and things like that.

Will be answering the 500+ PM's that I have from a lot of you over the next few days.

Any updates?

Russ

The suit will be complete later this week, by around wednesday, pictures of the whole suit in its final trials will done over the following weekend. The suits first official outing is July 1 so will have a hoard of pictures interacting with people.

Long and short completed suit pictures will be up by Saturday June 21, 2008 :)

Your close, the cover of the hand piece is from a plug in light , yes designed for under counters ect, but was a wall plug in. The light itself is a connection of 8 high end LED's set up in a circle shape powered by 6 AA batterys. I will try to get a lot more pics of this done up down the road.

I have not wanted to give to much of the finished look away till it was all done, so as to not spoil the end result.

Again more pics in a few days. Thanks again team.
:thumbsup

Hey Team

Sorry again for my absence. Have had a horrid hard time getting back on the RPF.

Anyway, want to take time out to introduce the creative talent behind my project. Travis Shewchuk and his Dad Terry of Ravenousefx (ravenousefx@hotmail.com) They have been both the creative and driving force to getting this suit built and painted up. Travise doing up the Sculpts and painting and Terry adding a lot of creative insite

Here is a picture of the genius behind this.

I have caused some hurt to Travis by not bringing him into light a lot sooner on this and keeping this part of the project masked. Again he is the suit builder, and the creative talent I am only just the funds behind the project.:cry

Travis is a incredible local talent and has conceived this project from the early photos I gave him back in mid November. He and with the help of his Dad have worked diligently to produce the armor such as you have seen in these pictures. My only creative part of the process was some insite into some of the design as Travis constructed the armor. The electronics and missle part were my brainchild but have still not been final fitted into the suits new cast arm.

So again team, please give these 2 a hand and feel free to give Travis an email if you are interested in more info on the suit. Travis and I have talked about that before, and many of you that have emailed me wanting to know how to get a copy, now you have the access to contact directly to find out about that. ravenousefx@hotmail.com

Travis does not yet have a webpage up and running but that will be rectified sometime soon in the future. In the mean time, let him know what you think of the armor.

Completed pictures of the whole suit assembled will be up in a few days.

Thanks team.
:thumbsup
