Thanks! I posted these because I finally consider my costume Complete, However any and all critique-ing you guys want to do, feel free!
I can now finally start on my Battle gear, Vest and kilt are complete so nbow its all down to me and that coat. . . . .

Fantastic! This is so awesome! the only thing I can say is I would like to see crazier hair. But the costume is superb!And heres a loverly pic of the entire ensemble, Minus the correct socks. Twas' laundry day.

Hey,
Just wanted to say Hi! I have been reading this thread for a while and found it invaluable for helping get the costume put together which I'm doing for my boyfriend. Both of us are working on the costume but I have been making the blue battle coat which has been a job and a half. When it's done I will post a pic up

I've had my Mad Hatter blue coat finished for a while, but I don't think I ever posted completion pics. Still need to update the buttons on the vest and finish my kilt before my entire battle ensemble will be complete!

Anyone get a good photo of the MH kilt pin? It is generally worn down by the right knee area.

Sporran cones! Sporrans (Gaelic for purse) are made up of the following parts:
1. Leather pouch
2. Cantle - ornate metal piece that covers the pouch lid and has the white horsehair hanging from it
3. Cones - Metal pieces for black horsehair tassels
4. Chain and belt loops - The chain hangs around the front of the kilt and the leather loops are attached to the kilt belt. You can also have a belt at the end of the chain that is attached together like a normal belt but on the back of the kilt.
