Oooo, fancy! :D Is it just me...Or am I the only who thinks that's a very fashionable shirt? :lol

Just watched the movie with my wifey and four year old son. We have now determined our Halloween costumes! Wifey - Battle Alice; Me - Well that is a given; my son - White Rabbit; my 8 month old daughter (who will be 1 year old by Halloween) - Door mouse; Cee Cee (stands for Cheshire Cat) - Ches; Nala (our other cat) - The Bandersnatch!! My four year old came up with all of these.

Surprisingly he enjoyed the entire movie!!

Holy cow! My buttons came in! Two sets! They are identical!!! Now it is time to see if I can reproduce them. It appears that the 1 inch is the ones to use. I also have 3/4 inch and 9/16 inch. Opinions?????

Those are beautiful buttons! In a double breasted jacket or vest, 40 ligne button are often not used. I vote 3/4" (30 ligne)

Yup I'll be there on the 12th..but I Highly doubt theyll let us take
side by side pix with the originals.FIDM funny like that.i dont know y they
prohibit picture taking.

I have the smooth on rubber and smooth on plastic.
im gonna make a mold of the little stones ontop of the art deco hat pin
soon.so if you wanna thro the 2 buttons in there..thats not a prob.
who else is gonna go? A mini meetup before the tea party?

would anyone like to explain how they made their leather top hat? If I tried to make one with no instructions, I'd epicly fail. well thanks!

Check out JackSavvy's thread on his mad hatter costume. Great pics and step by step. Or you can try my approach and flip over a lampshade! Assuming you can find the right size...:lol

The girl I made these for wanted them to have a cartoony look, and she only wanted the toes decorated. However I recently found some material that is succinctly perfect and will be doing another pair. You can tell but there are red Tread-Hearts on the bottom of the sole, when we do events and she puts her feet up on the pig you can see them.....its pretty cool.
