Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland Costumes

Did nobody else think this movie was below Johnny Depp and in obvious fact - an abomination !

There I said it - now continue making amazing costumes!

Honestly if I didn't walk out on this movie while thinking it was the most sloppily made piece of detritus ever spewed from Tim Burton's once elegent and interesting mind - I would rather like this costume. I find all the bits and bobs rather interesting and I like the design.

I just don't care for what it was designed for.

I'll stick to Sweeney and Sparrow when it comes to Depp.

Hoping this Hatter and Card are on this list so they can get these images :)

These were also taken at the Faire in L.A.
One of the Faire's photographers captured these for me-I'm the noble in the green.

I know I also met a couple of you Hatter's out at the Faire, so hello again :)

hehehehe.....I made 95% of that Hatter costume.......hehehe

I actually agree that the movie in-and-of itself could have been Much, MUCH better. Also I am not a Tim Burton fan, I just ADORE Colleen Atwood and everything she does. Thats why I've made the costumes I've made---any other costume designer I don't think would have captured it as well as she has.

Skarlett...what region of the globe do you "hail" from? Not to sure which MH or card that is! :confused

I'm in Sherman Oaks-that's part of L.A. for those not local :)
So the next time I'm at Disneyland (and I'm there often) I'll be checking out that window you posted the photo of :)

I'll also be at ComicCon-I'm sketching and plotting an Um dress-I was going to wear it Friday, with a friend as a apron'd Hatter, but having read of the tea, I may switch to wearing it on Saturday-
Where and what time is the Tea at ComicCon happening?

Did I also see you guys at the El Capitan midnight premier? Great pics! Glad to see the Faire was receptive to you guys. We went last year not in renaissance garb and boy did we get it.

I do agree with you. A lot of people loved this movie, but I thought it was slow and quite a mess, but I did LOVE the Red Queen character. But yes, the costumes were lovely, and that's why I continue to make them. Personally my fave Burton/Depp movie is Ed Wood.

OT...hey guys, I have been thinking about this for years and let me know what you think, or if it's dumb. I'm a girl btw. I want to cosplay Ed Wood in the scene where he is dressed as a woman at the party (bellydancer) but he still has his mustache. so I'd be a girl dressed as a guy dressed as a girl.

Am I the only person who thinks this would be funny???

Ramiel, excellent work buddy! :D

And as for the movie itself being below par....In total honesty (because I lie in all my other posts?) the movie for me is more visualy driven than story. I was just telling my cousin on FB about this actualy. :lol The story is ok, and the acting is all just fine...But the costumes are absoutly wonderful.

See? I think I must describe them like action figures :)
To me Kilt Hatter is Battle! Hatter!

And the blue jacket is Blue Hatter-but for the sake of keeping the boards on the same description train I'll try and remember to reference that one as gray :)
Look for a PM soon
