TIE Bomber Construction - Take 2

Thanks, Boba Flint. I have that kit. I just took a look at it and could not find a part that looks like the one in Zac's images. Could it be from an older Tamiya Matilda? Can you, or anyone else, offer more information on this, and the two other parts located on top of the targeting sensor?
Thanks.

Thrawn, for archival purposes, would you mind editing the original questions back in? Without that context the answers make no sense, and it'd be a shame to leave the info unusable by others reading the thread.

Thanks for the tip EchoLeader. I'll give that a try this
weekend.

Hobbit 7, the tan piece is from the Tamiya British 25lb
field gun and the parts on top of the sensor are from
the Hasegawa Morser Karl.

Zac's right it is the 25 lb. gun. BIG typo mistake on my part.

Thanks guys for the help. I found the parts on the Karl Morser. Thought I had the 25 Ib in my collection somewhere. Could not find it. Will make a trip to the hobby store tommorow and try to locate it.
On the question with scribing the grooves on the body tubes;
I examined the photos of the Tie Bomber in the Chronicles book and other available photos, the grooves appear to me as being somewhat wider than a simple scribed line around the tubes. I attempted to scribe these grooves but ended up with bad results. So I tried something different. I glued a thin layer of plastic sheet around the tubes and used strips of plastic to help make the grooves. Looks pretty good, and appears pretty close to the pics I've seen. And the front cockpit dome and bombing tube disk still are flush with the body tubes after doing this. Will try and post some pics but having trouble accomplishing this task. I've never attempted this before so it is a new thing for me.

Okay, lets see if this works.

These are pics of my first attempt at creating the grooves on the body tubes of the Tie Bomber by gluing a thin layer of .010 sheet plastic around them.

I must be getting old. The parts on top the bombing sensor in TB15 are from the Morser Karl kit? I see the parts that look like the tools, but the rectangular boxes they're sitting on have me stumped. Anyone have a part number?

I'm looking to identify a part that goes on the Rodney deck B 12.I have the fusesetter, and the little part from the leopold. I need the little part that goes on the top left of the deck. What kit is that from? Help please.

Hey, I know that part! It's from the Tamiya 1/700 HMS Prince of Wales battleship, part #B5. Guess that picture DID help.

Thanks, Zac!

I updated my album with a few new pics. http://photos.yahoo.com/jghinderliter

I'm currently working on the wings and an interior for the pilot. I'm going to light it with a few led's and some fiber optics. Is any one else making any progress? Would like to see some pics of your work too!
