Thunderbird 3 launch bay Aoshima

Managed to find the Aoshima kit of the Thunderbird 3 launch bay, which unlike 1 and 2 has not been re-released by AIP.
Once more, I had to replace all the cardboard with plasticard, add detail, a few lights and a roof.

As a reminder, here are the other two that I've built.

Thanks. Yep, it's a bit harder to find than the other two (at least here in the UK).

Yeah, I don't know why they didn't release this one here. I have the TB1 launch bay and will get the 2 bay sooner or later. I keep wanting to make my own model of TB2 but the green seems like it would be impossible to get right to the way it looked on screen. (I've seen yours and it's very nice)

Thanks. Yep, the green is an issue but in the end, I just went for a green that seemed good enough!

That is all you can do really. It looked so different under different lighting conditions that you could probably pick randomly from a whole spectrum of greens and still be able to find a shot where it did look like that.
