Hi everyone.

Just a quick update to let you know that Batch One is now complete, and I'm officially moving on to Batch Two!

Everyone in Batch One should have received their tracking numbers or a notification.

Thanks for your patience everyone. It's been a lot to get though, and I need to make sure every one is up to the standard you'd expect.

*Update*

Hi Everyone. Just wanted to give an update on how things are going with batch number two....

Last week was all about getting the parts prepped and ready for painting. As with the previous batch, the parts needed some TLC to remove any tool marks and scratches, before they can be masked/stencilled.

Unlike the previous batch, I decided to get the boxes finished at this stage too, as well as getting the tri-rings made up, rather than working on those at the end.

The boxes also require a fair bit of TLC and I round the corners myself, so these took up a bit of time this past week too.

Having managed to get all the parts prepped last week (and over the weekend), I've been chemically aging the emitters today. Managed to get all of them done today, so tomorrow I can move on to masking/stencilling.

Here they are freshly treated (before knocking back with the wire wool):

Looking forward to getting these stencilled up and ready for painting over the next couple of days.

Thanks for your patience everyone. As with the previous batch, each little job takes a while to get through due to there being a whole batch to get through, but it's certainly quicker than working on them one at a time.

As always, I'm getting through them as fast as I can, whilst maintaining the standards you've come to expect.

I'll keep you all posted as things progress.

**Update**

Hi Everyone. Just a courtesy update to let everyone know where I'm up to on the commissions....

All eleven of this final batch have now been masked off and stencilled, ready for painting:

This is one of the more time consuming parts of the build, so things should move along quickly from here.

Just so you're aware though, I will be out of action for a few days, as I have a long awaited/pre-planned camping trip booked this week. It would have been nice to get everything finished and sent out before it came around, but it wasn't to be unfortunately.

I will of course be straight back to it as soon as I'm back and, weather permitting, I'd like to get the painting done this coming weekend.

I'll keep everyone posted with another update soon.

*Update*

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to give you all an update on how the commissions are going....

I've been working flat out since getting back from my trip away on Friday, and I'm pleased to say that we had some pretty good painting weather over the weekend, so ALL the painting is finished. I spent yesterday, and much of today removing stencils, and cleaning off any residue. I also made a start on sanding the rings and wire brushing the emitters (about halfway through those and may get a couple more done tonight).

Still to do:

• Finish sanding rings/wire brushing emitters
• Apply weathering powder to neck sections
• Install Tri-Rings
• Install Collars (Pre-Cut) on blades

It's looking like I should be able to get the remainder of the work finished by the end of the week! So, with that in mind, I'm aiming to get them in to Saturday morning's post (all going well). Monday Morning at the very latest.

As always, thanks for your patience everyone. I'm getting through these as fast as the perfectionist in me will allow.

I have the parts to put a few more together, but the bodies are from my first hero run, and need some work on them to get rid of some minor dings and scratches and to extend the depth of the emitter/tap the second set screw.

My hands are tied up with commissions just now, so it'll be a couple of week till I can get on to those.

Hi Matthew. You're in luck!

I'm just in the process of finishing off 4 X Hero Kits that were headed to the Junk Yard this week! They were all reserved until recently, but these four slots opened up in the time that it took to get the Yuma run completed. I originally bought extra control boxes in my last Hero run to go on some damaged Gen1 bodies I have (once I've fixed them up). I then bought some extra Gen2 bodies with the Yuma run to go with the Hero boxes instead and some extra Yuma boxes to go on the damaged Gen1s.

I intended on getting these heroes out before the Yuma run, but had to push them back, as people had paid upfront for their Yumas and wanted to get them out to people as quickly as I could. In that time, some people on my original interest list for these have dropped out. So, long story short, I do have 4 X Complete Hero Kits that should actually be ready to go out either today or tomorrow.

I'll drop you a PM with the details.

I don't have any loose/spare bodies I'm afraid. I've got some parts left, but I have the exact number that I need to do 10 complete Yumas, so I can't separate them unfortunately.
