While I am waiting for a couple more reference shots for the FF patch, I currently have in the works a longtime favorite of mine that I am finally bringing to fruition - the S.H.I.E.L.D. QUINJET pilot patch.
After watching the 8 second clip several dozen times, it appears the editor had the quinjet pilots run from screen left to screen right, while the original filming had the pilots running from right to left. This not only explained the eagle facing the wrong way in the final edit of the movie, it also explained why the first image of the patch is on the left sleeve but during the running, it was on the right. Plus if you freeze frame the ALPHA on the helmet at that time, you will also see the ALPHA is mirrored.
That being said, the QUINJET patches are similar to my previous run of STRIKE patches, but I did notice and incorporate several tweaks into the QUINJET patches.
These are projected to be complete between the first and second week of January with a pre-order cost of $10 for one, $17.50 for two or $24 for three, and $5 for each additional in that order. Payment can be sent via PayPal to bobatrek@aol.com.
