thank you, I completely agree, they are more fun at this size too. The nice thing is we didn't have to sacrifice any detail work, and they store easily.

apologies if this has already been discussed, but are there measurements readily available for the R2 2/3 scale?
The scale of the 1:1 scale R2 has been holding me back from building one for myself due to the display space he would take up.

We are almost set to offer kits for this as well, just a week or so away from doing a run in the JY. PM me with any questions.

your room is turning out super sweet ....now just gotta find some star wars poker chips and your all set. i wonder if anyone even makes em. if not air brushing empire and rebellion logos would be wicked on a nice clay set.

LOVE that image!!! And i did find a company that will put any custom graphics you want on the poker chips. So I have "The Smugglers Room" on one side, and a mix of others logos; empire, bounty hunter, rebels, etc. I haven't put the order in, but I have it ready to go. Maybe the wife will buy them for me for Xmas

My wife says I have to stop looking at this thread...apparently it's giving me too many ideas for our media room.
But I'll be back - the awesome level is far too high for me to not see how it turns out. Looking really, really great Fuzzual!

Fuzzual, what's your schedule like for this gigantic project?
With a basement like that, you'll probably always be adding new things here and there. When do you figure all the 'major' stuff will be finished?

I know, I know. I have some progress from this weekend, but it was all "Sanding, Sanding, Sealing, Sanding, Sealing Sanding, Sealing, Sanding, Sanding, Sanding, and then Primer . . . Paint . . . Sleep. :lol

Yes, When I started in November I thought, "I'll be done by February" then in February I thought, "I'll be done by May" then in May I thought, "Surely I will be done in August????"
As it turns out, I will have done what is done by the party on the 11th, and from then it gets ugly. Most of the major pieces will be complete by then. I will though have all the lighting to finish, the display cases, and then a major project "The Red Death Star Control Console" which will probably get moved to the spring. Just not enough time in the day . . . to bad we have to work huhcrycry:cry
