The show your custom BLASTER thread!

Looks good so far!

The lack of trigger guard and the somewhat squared off chamber remind me of Cad Bane's from the latest episode of BoBF

Refining a design a little bit further. Decided to reduce print time and the amount of filament used by replacing the majority of the barrel with PVC pipe, which was almost, but not quite, the same OD as the barrel I’d initially designed. Then I got to thinking the knobs on the side could be threaded, then I thought maybe they could hold a scope mount, and here we are.

Hello again all! Just wanted to drop some photos off of a new project I am working on. Not sure where the inspiration came from other than I try to build blasters that I can actually use in Airsoft as I play it quite regularly. Got hyped back up by Book of Boba and this is the newest result of the trend, base gun is a handheld 40mm grenade launcher. What are some of your thoughts? Some recommendations going forward on it? It’s not finished, some painting and weathering left, maybe some more green lies. Hope you enjoy!

That reminds me a little of Kyle Katarn's blaster from the Dark Forces games. What I mean is that his blaster is supposed to be a cut down rifle/carbine and that looks almost like a cut down variant of Boba's rifle.

I love this thing! I think it just needs some sort of tip to that barrel— either an inset flash hider or maybe just a concave tip like the ROTJ EE3.

This thing is absolutely awesome; and that's before you even add in the fact that you made it as a functional airsoft prop.

Will that bad boy take a 40-mike brand shell?

If this is the base, really nice job converting it. The handle is real wood?

How have I been on here for a whole year and not found this thread yet! I love making custom blasters, and I've ended up with quite the assortment. (one of my oldest blasters is even my profile picture) Some are inspired by actual SW blasters and some are completely original, but they're all built from found parts or from scratch. Enjoy!

Amazingly amazing  ! I love them and I felt like a kid when I saw your post. Somes are totally Star Wars, others are SciFi-ish, though I'm not basically a blaster guy.

These Blasters are Gorgeous!, the one with the Brown grips is my favourite, it looks like something Cad Bane would have.

I finally finished this set of blasters! Each one had a theme; The top one was made with a cheap bb gun, and just scraps I had plus some trash I scrounged. The second one is the Clint Eastwood one I already posted. I made the bottom one by bolting pieces to an old Daisy 200 bb gun, while not damaging the gun at all. I thought it would be fun because I heard that on New Hope they rented a lot of guns to make blasters, but had to return them in their original shape. I wanted them to look like bounty hunter weapons scrapped together buy one gunsmith (that's why the plaque reads "Mos Eisly Armory"). However, I still need to weather them!

I didn't know this was a thing, there are some pretty cool ideas here. I built this one years ago, inspired by Jin Erso's blaster in Rouge One. This was way before the AW customs one came out or that one would have satisfied my need for a luger style star wars blaster.

Here’s mine , based on a 1911 ! Lots of axis powers based blasters in Star Wars, I thought the 1911 was a super iconic piece that needed the Star Wars treatment

I love this one:

Anything you're able to share about what it's made from?

That’s a sweet little blaster build you did, ideal backup blaster tucked outta sight ,
Gotta love putting things together from found pieces ! !
This one is from STL files of various other SW props, the barrel is Boba Fett’s left arm launcher, the muzzle is Din Djarins blaster, and there’s a found part, a brass electrical fuse, modified.
Din Djarins ammo on his bandolier also inspired the magazine design, and actually works on the magazine catch.
I put the hex grips on there, as the checkered ones made it look too much like a 1911.
Of, and there’s a widget I found in a drawer of left over parts in a drawer that was in the house when I moved in, some kind of winged nylon nut
