Yes, great video! Great hilt! Thank you both for doing this. That rescue scene in Mando' was a great moment for many of us. Honestly, it's my favorite moment in Star Wars since ROTJ. What an homage to that moment for us!!! Thank You. That belt hanger ...i mean, just stunning!! Glad you are still safe man. You've endured a lot.

Finished my Rescuer...i decided i wanted to play around with it a little so i used some K&S 3/16 brass L stock for the rails.(Had to modify them on one side to match the top portion of the rails. I also modified the screws. If any of you haven't purchased one of these you should really think about it. It's very solid, exquisite machining and at a great cost. I'm really looking forward to Starkillers next Luke project as well as Halliwax' installation video.

You should watch Halliwax' video...he details everything you need to do. Check out his youtube channel for other videos on other hilts or tutorials here on the RPF. It's a very valuable resource and you'll learn a lot. He's spent a lot of time doing these things to benefit us. Enjoy doing your hilt!!!

Hello! Don’t know how I’d never made a profile here but I’m a long time lurker of the RPF and had a few on and off periods of getting into the saber community, nice to currently be back haha.
I was interested in buying one of these, off your site Mr. Starkiller as I have heard great things about your work over the years. Always wanted one of your hilts and with how generously priced it is, and how fantastic it looks painted up in Mr. Halliwax’s recent videos, I figured I’d pull the trigger before they sold out (they appear to still be in stock as of writing this?)
However, would there be any way I could commission someone to do a painting service on this? I would be more than happy to support the community and unfortunately I don’t have as much free time as I’d like to do it justice, I have also never painted a saber before. Doing basic accuracy mods to Graflex 2.5s is the extent of my know how lol. Definitely wouldn’t want to rush it.
If not that’s completely understandable, and I am grateful to join this community where hopefully I will learn a lot. Thanks again to Mr. Starkiller and Mr. Halliwax for providing their services and knowledge!

C’mon man, you got this! You can paint this baby yourself. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to post them here

Hello! I joined RPF a few months back after lurking for years looking for tips on random things for random projects. I'll likely post a little about me or pictures of old projects or something, but in this thread I just wanted to say that the work you folks do around here is amazing, and I just bought a Rescuer I look forward to getting more involved in the community when I've got a bit more time (2023, fingers crossed)!
