The Rescuer--Luke's saber from Mandolorian Show off

I have to apologize for how late i am to this. Everything is filmed and Im about 80% done with editing. goal is to have this video up saturday morning as long as I get the time to finish the editing this week. My real job is a living hell right now..
but playing around in the shed forgets how crappy the real world can be some times. super shout out to Anakin Starkiller for doing this run, I have been wicked excited for this, check it out!

Looking at the two different grenades in your photo side by side, I really prefer the look of the chunkier stunt one.

The belt hanger is really really growing on me as one of my favorite Hero versions...so much so i'm wanting an fx emitter cap swap assembly like the AS Hero. I've got the Rescuer and ROTJ HERO sitting side by side and they look like they are a married couple. I asked my wife which she thought was better...She goes, "If you take the box off the ROTJ HERO and put it on the Rescuer you have the perfect Luke Hero...I hate uneven rings" lol.

My Response? " I can see that but i see through rose colored lenses with the Jedi Hero...wouldn't change a thing"

Even though I’ve wanted this for awhile, again I’m so thankful starkiller ended up doing this. While working on it, I’ve grown even closer to it

Not many remain left in the store, I’m hoping after the holidays to grab one more to keep on my archive shelf.

It’s a really beautiful piece

This thing is incredible…
The TLJ version has never been my favorite but i know Starkiller will do it justice. Honestly, i like every saber He does and the collaboration on the V2 was awesome!! I'm kicking myself for selling it because something came up and i was forced to offload quick and immediately i said to myself, "i got a bad feeling about this". Maybe down the road another run?

I don’t see any future v2 runs, that was really a big favor he did for me. Helping me build my vision. Which pushed all his projects back..

He’s got so many projects in the works, I’ve screwed up his launch schedule enough with my list of demands lol

We got one more wicked cool project coming out next year, which I’m super super excited for. It’s gonna change everything

Are there any reference shots as to how far out the acrylic red and green lenses should stick out from the control box or should they be flush? Super glue or E6000 the best to secure them?

Also, securing the black activation button is a bit tricky so I'm trying to figure out what is the best approach for that.

edit: figured out the button. Screw the grub screw fully into the black switch and then reverse it back into box which ends up pulling it snug against the box.

I’m sorry for the Delay, I just seriously don’t have much free time. I have a video coming out Saturday with the instructions

Arrows flush, black button with the screw or you can e6000 that on, what ever you feel comfortable doing

I sand the Allen wrench down to make it easier to fit inside the control box

I still have to glue the acrylic triangles in once I determine the exact positioning of them, but they fit real snug as it is. A little sanding on the backside of the control box cover and it slides in snug. The triangle ring should be interesting to figure out how to install and then all we have is paint to do for now.

I don’t have a 3D printer or milling machine so for now this will be a display piece only, but I would love to get it installed at some point down the road.

I really like this thing and the machining is excellent. Well worth the price!

Have to apologize for how long this took to get out. I am always busy, never hold still, always have something going on. So free time has been wicked difficult to find.

I forgotten how much fun stuff like this is, and so thankful starkiller did this run for us. 2 years in the works, it all paid off
