I see a slot infront of the top button, this isn't present on the stunt in the hut hilt, so must be a second ANH stunt - with a motor?
thd9791's second pic also clearly showing the infamous black stripe.

Absolututly sure it's the stripe, transition is way too abrupt for a shadow & continues in the mouth of the hilt. Gradation on the lighter part shows this is a round blade.

The black lines on your pic I think are jpeg 'sharpening' artifacts. To make something 'sharper' (dep. on settings) jepging increases the contrast on 'edges'. If you look on Luke's left shoulder (his) & his collar there are black lines against the dark background. These look like the ones on the blade esp. where it crosses the dark crease in his pants. You can see it very well round the highlights on the top button too. (forgot to say zoom in a lot).
It's good you pointed this out as I hadn't been thinking about this sort of thing when looking at the other hut photos.

Just checked the other hut photo's & they seem largely free of this, your above pic has been quite heavily sharpened.

Good eyes, If it's 36" then it's the same as in the other hut pic's. I'll double check it this evening when I get back.

I make it 36.88" & def clipped by frame edge. Certainly seems longer than the other hut blades. Base diam about 16.4-16.9mm but it's hard to get good measures as edges are blurred.
This is Scotchlite 8910 1.5" wide fabric. Glass things bonded to fabric. I had to use like 6 rubber bands to wrap and glue the fabric to the pole, it's not wide enough to wrap around. Because of this I only glued fabric to a small section of this ski pole. (Kids size)

Is this the stuff that's got irritating dust? Which ever, sure performs well though. Check how much fatter it makes the blade look.
