There must be something more advanced used for this bounty,...Mando was going to leave him with the villagers,...I'd say we will find out next week
Last week they dangled the mention that a Mando never takes his helmet off & folks went daft, saying that's stupid,....how does he wash/shave/eat etc....the sane folks answered, probably not take it off in front of anyone
Now everyone is wondering about the tracker....

It probably is the stunt stuff. I still get thrown by how well blended the rubber Jango stunt armor is until you see it double over itself when he looks to see if Obiwan fellI swear there’s a shot just before this where Cara his his helmet and it’s a rubber stunt helmet that flexes out of the way.
Someone like... Carl Weathers? My 2 thoughts this week are-
1) I'm thinking someone put a tracker on his ship. Either someone thinking ahead, that he'd escape with the bounty, or someone wanting to ambush him for his armor
So just for funsies, I watched the second half of episode 3 again, before diving into 4.
This time I noticed the even more worn down storm troopers in the "concept art" at the end of the show. Wearing ponchos, some wearing cargo pants instead of leg armor, etc. I kind of wish that aesthetic had mad it into the show itself.
2) I've not seen anything definite, but I'm not thinking that Pedro is in that suit. We had a fair amount of promotional stuff before he was ever announced, & in some interview I read, he really beat around the bush when asked about the suit, even strongly giving props to the stunt team.
It doesn't bother me at all, & doesn't hinder my enjoyment of the show, but I enjoy learning how the art I like was created. If anyone has seen anything to the contrary, I'd love to see a link. Really hoping for an 'Art Of' book for this series.
When Herzog commissioned Mando, he said "no fob", and could only give a last known location and partial "chain code"... Whatever those other hunters were tracking it wasn't Baby Yoda. Gonna lay odds it was Mando.
...you busted me...Someone like... Carl Weathers?
Not exactly original but it was a fun enough episode. I think people can be far to critical of Star Wars these days, even the good stuff when it isn't as good as they'd like it to be. It was great to see a strong female character battling that wasn't 90 lbs. What we got was a believable female badass.Mando helps a downtrodden village defend itself against dog people who happen to have a sentient AT-ST. He then has to move on to another adventure leaving the beautiful maiden... How original.
