They just can’t resist, can they. Gotta put the dumb little puppet from everyone’s favorite movie, Episode IX, into their most profitable show on the platform.
“Please? Please like him? We want money, and focus groups suggest this thing is just ugly and yet cute enough it should have made us rich, and even with all the fake articles we put out during Episode IX about everyone loving him more than Baby Yoda, he still doesn’t sell well. Love him?”
Otherwise, I no longer have any great hope for this series. Burned too badly on the past two shows. If I have to put something optimistically, though, I think it might be nice that they lean away from the Empire, which is what it looks like. Dogfights are always a check in my book as well. I could eat my words, but Disney—and Lucasfilm by extension—seem to be cheaping out more and more lately, on scripts, on effects, on props, on locations. So I’ll watch it. I can’t really get “excited” about it anymore.
And look at the PT. Many don't like it, but love the era and the content between the films. Both Clone Wars continuities (Clone Wars Multimedia Project, and THE Clone Wars) are pretty awesome in their own ways.I get people hate the sequels (i'm one). However, people need to stop freaking out when a character flashes on screen for a second that could be from the sequels. Even it if is from the ST, so what? Anyone thinking they're going to retcon the ST out of existence is nuts. They've spend way too much. Just take heed in the fact that they still have nothing scheduled from that era or after. It's all OT, post OT, or in the distance past at this point.
Ooh..Shout out to teecrooz
Nah you guys are amateurs compared to Trek fans! You're asking way too much of Star Wars fans to not freak out over anything and everything. Star Wars fans are the orginal freak out over anything and everything freakerouters.
I thought the new trailer was pretty good. Mind you, I don't know which puppet people are hating on today or why and I'm fine with that.
Not bent...Custom!The bent ranger finder is hard to unsee.

Ep9 really **** the bed as far as utilization of those two characters was concerned.I actually wouldn't mind a Poe and Finn series, taking on a special mission for the New, New Republic. They were good characters that were underused. We could even see Finn tap into his Force abilities.
Maybe that way it actually lowers in front of one's eye. Because the straight ones do NOT!The bent ranger finder is hard to unsee.

I was thinking the same thing but figured I would get roasted if I said it. So, I'm very glad someone else said it.Nah you guys are amateurs compared to Trek fans!![]()
Indeed. They, along with Rose, were badly served by a script that seemed to just be flailing about and had no idea what it was doing.Ep9 really **** the bed as far as utilization of those two characters was concerned.
Yikes. It's like a Don Post helmet...The bent ranger finder is hard to unsee.

I'm not a fan of the PT and how it chose to focus its films, but I've come around on the era, the Clone Wars cartoon, and the potential of that setting as a vehicle for storytelling. And look at the PT. Many don't like it, but love the era and the content between the films. Both Clone Wars continuities (Clone Wars Multimedia Project, and THE Clone Wars) are pretty awesome in their own ways.
Eh, just adds to the "lived in" feeling of the universe to me.The bent range finder is hard to unsee.

As many here, I'm sure, have actually had on a Mando helmet, to me it just looks like it's angled in a way to actually put it in his line of sight when it's used. The bent range finder is hard to unsee.
