It's not the Death StarAlthough this is positioned wrong. The screw threads should be in the upper top quadrant.
Not the knob, but what it represented between Mando and Gogru.
I'll let you guys do with the knob whatever you want as long as I can go with Min-Na Wen![]()
This is completely wrong and you shouldn't try to shut down valid criticism about something, even if you love it. This isn't reddit. There are definitely some hokey parts to season 2 and it changed tack from season 1, people should be able to talk about it. If you had a positive emotional response to the show then it is great, but being dogmatically pro-insertyourtopichere is a really unhealthy relationship to have with media, or anything for that matter. It reminds me of American politics.
Thank you for sharing that.Wow!!!! Just realized how thankful I am for Favreau and Filoni....especially and most importantly in this episode how they handled in the parts that meant the most.
In the darkest moment they all faced, especially when the walls were coming down and Luke showed and in that moment the DARK troopers just stopped.....a moment of peace.....followed by a rescue filled and fueled with Love and Caring all culminating with The Dark( troopers ) dispelled and nothing but Caring and Hope and Peace in that moment. So Strong in Luke's words I will Protect him with my life and telling Din that Grogu wants his ok to leave him and not forcing him. All the meaning behind all the actions and words said by Luke and Din and Grogu and even Grogu.
Peace and Hope for both Din and Grogu after all that they have been through from early in their lives. Din finds his true self and loose the chains of having to constantly wear the mask ( that he did not realize until now that were there ) Ultimately for one who he loves and cares deeply for. R2 showing Grogu comfort and a little horse play to ease his beginning to his new journey.
Letting go was eased to them ( even if just half way ) at that moment. Freed of alot of darkness for both.
If that was the end of that journey it was a deeply comforting and rewarding end. Reminds me of one of my favorite songs ( Reckless Love ) and the lyrics in it :
"There's no shadow you won't light up
Mountain you won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall you won't kick down
No lie you won't tear down
Coming after me"
Thank you John and Dave
I agree wholeheartedly! My issue with the “criticism” is people seem more focused on convincing the people who like something why liking it is wrong and that by liking it they’re not “true fans.”
People are going to like stuff. People are going to dislike stuff. That’s fine.
But if you don’t like something, you don’t need to try to ruin it for the people who do.
In the shitshow we’re all living in, it’s more important than ever that people have an outlet to escape the harshness of reality for a bit. ‘Don’t really need to enjoy a show to go online and hear what a simpleton you are for having enjoyed it...
If something doesn’t work for you, that’s fine. If you have constructive criticism, that’s fine too. Just be respectful of one another because, in the end, we’re all fans.

The R2/knob connection has been mentioned a few times here... If they'd made it less subtle, it might have been more of "holy cow, Grogu knows R2-D2! I get it now! There's history there that we haven't been told yet" reveal moment (for me at least), and less of "oh hey, it's R2-D2 again, I guess it makes sense that he's with CGI Luke." Kind of hard to convey with two characters who don't speak.
Ooof. I don’t get how this TV show can be taken so seriously. No wonder some here hate any criticism of the stiff acting, ridiculous action sequences, or weak special effects.Wow!!!! Your right this could have been told better but there was so much going on this finale episode.
