Not exactly sure where you guys are getting the $500 from. The page I am looking at the price is $389 for full costume. Still not cheap, but better than $500. Kind of wish it was a bit more accurate to either his Netflix costume or his comic book one.
Hey guys - long time reader, first time poster - after reading through this thread, I got the bug to make my own black Daredevil suit. I haven't made a costume in over 20 years, so I'm a little rusty - figured this would be a good one to get myself back in the game.
I just wanted to thank everyone for all their hard work and research in finding the right items - I went for as close as possible to screen accurate, but on a budget. I got a generic black compression shirt with red piping from Amazon, and I already had a black pair of cargo pants. I went with the McDavid elbow pads, arm pads, and wrist supports, and I got a pretty close match to the gloves, but for a lot less. I splurged on the Bates boots, boy are they comfy! I figured they'd be a good investment since I could wear them through winter as well as for this suit.
Then I tried on my black cargo pants, and they didn't fit! And they were too baggy anyway. So I found Condor 610T Tactical lightweight ripstop stealth operator pants for $38. While not as screen accurate as the G-Stars, they have 'the look', and are slimmer fitting. We need some more pics of the black suit club holster...
This might be easier than you think. This men's shirt in xs and BLACK/RED will fit a 120lbish female quite well. The gloves and the McDavid wraps/pads come in extra small, and not the walmart definition of it, either. The xs wraps/pads are VERY tiny. The Bates boots have a female version that's identical to the men's version. I'm still looking around for pants that go well with the rest of the outfit. Honestly, that's been the hardest part so far.

If anyone has recommendations for where to purchase the matte gloves, not the gloss, I would be grateful.
Unfortunately, the women's variants are done with teal accents instead of red.

I personally didn't find it worth paying $70 for a shirt that's the wrong print done in a wrong color, especially when shirts much closer to the screen version are available for $15 on amazon.

Sorry I missed your link and sent you the same one! If you received the glossy gloves by ordering from that page, just send a message to Abolox and let them know that they sent the wrong product. "Stealth" is the designation for the matte variant. I've gotten the correct gloves from that same order page and have another on the way.

They're honestly the cheapest place I've found for the gloves, so I sent them another message asking if I could just exchange them for the correct ones instead now that I know they should have them.

Still trying to progress with this costume. Every shirt I've gotten is the updated version with the McDavid logo rather than the hex pattern, so I guess that's a bust. I guess I'll do a "battle damaged" version at some point 
I also cannot find the pants in a 34 waist 32 leg. The only site I've found which comes close is this: http://www.builtbycarl.com/gstar-fashion-powell-3d-tapered-cargo-trousers-oliv-outlet-p-689.html However I cannot tell if it's legit or not. If anyone has any pointers, please let me know.
Also, not sure if I've asked this before; but does anyone have an idea on which model Paul Smith suit he's wearing in the promos? He's also wearing it in the 3rd episode when his wounds open whilst following Mr Wesley.

I got it from ebayUK but I don't know if it is available anywhere else. It has a logo on the front but it's just an iron-on sticker so it's easy to remove

It's hard to keep track of because McDavid is changing products several times over without changing their product numbers/codes, but I believe the V-neck is older than the crew neck. As near as I can tell, this is the evolution of the 8800T:
V neck, hexagons, old logo
V neck, hexagons, new logo
Crew neck, hexagons, new logo
Crew neck, <M> icons, new logo
The 8840R has gone through the same iterations but without the V-neck ever being a part of it that I've seen.
