The 89 MattMobile Build Thread.

Matt

i have an intro for you that i filmed while in the USA recently, if you can understand my Birmingham UK accent your welcome to use it, ive never done anything like this before so its a little rushed, plus i was nervous lol

Sounds awesome dude! Use something like megaupload.com to store the file online, then PM me with the link. I will TOTALLY use it. The more cryptic, the better!! :)

Jamie, I am going to avoid flames. I figure if there's a sure fire way to doom myself, it will be that. i have seen some neat internally lit smoke blasts that LOOK like flame. I might do that.

In other news, I'm still making progress. I purchased one of the sets of Ferrari tail lights, and found some good aftermarket racing seats that I will use. They are sitting in my foyer right now. Quite the eye sore.

The latest news on the shell is that it's SUPPOSED to be ready sometime early november.

The real bummer is that I DESTROYED my right foot last night when I fell on the stairs. So even if the shell was here, I don't think I'd be doing much work on it. I have broken a bunch of bones, and it sucks!! lol

No cast yet, though I'm supposed to get a "walking boot" sometime next week. Not sure if that will be before or after surgery. I will know more after a visit to the foot specialist.

I don't think I posted this:

2 of the 4 rear tail lights. Genuine Ferrari parts, bay-bay!

Surgery !! crap you realy did do a proper job on it ??:rolleyes

You should know from reading this thread that I don't do ANYTHING "half way" :)

We shall see though, that was the assessment of the first doctor, and he was a general practitioner. I'm going to a specialist next week, so we shall see. My foot is actually feeling surprisingly better, and I personally am having a hard time believing that it's broken. It still hurts a bunch, and I'm not going to go bike riding anytime soon, but it's completely tolerable.

Good luck with the foot, I hope you get good news and a quick recovery. I really missed riding my bike after hurting my knee last year.

I hear ya bro. Honestly, having an injury like this really makes you appreciate NOT being injured. I really feel a great deal of sympathy for people who have injuries or maladies that prevent them from doing everyday things that we take for granted.

For those following along, parts of my foot today are... GREEN!!! I've never seen that color in living flesh before. Kinda weird!!!

I think that green is very BAD! Have you consulted anyone about the color change?

I hope your foot injury turns out to be a nice, quick healing process dude. I'm rooting for ya.

yes, green = bad. I agree :) I'm going to see a specialist next week, so hopefully he'll have some insight. Hopefully before my foot falls off.
