It's that time of the year again! The Annual Easter Egg Hunt! (at another forum, but I like to share my craziness...)
Last year I did this one; http://www.therpf.com/f11/scratchbuilt-st-easter-twist-211741/#post3288741
And this year, something in the same theme...
Aaaand we're off! And like any egg that's off... you need to clean them!
Begone, foul spots! Only took a bit of scrubbing with a sponge and some nailpolish remover... Groovy...
Speaking of groovy... this thing needs a trench. How can you have a trench-run without a trench?
So we sacrifice one egg to make a guide to draw some parallel lines...
Sorted!
Two halves make a whole...
One half -gets- a hole...
...aaaand the hole gets another half...
CA-glue, some kicker, a sanding stick and a little elbow-grease later we have a massive planet-killing laser cannon dish thingy!
And now we start working on making those halves whole again...
Cutting more discs... and holes in the discs...
Each half gets a disc...
Another disc to separate the two halves...
And we have a whole(ish) egg again...
One egg gets sacrificed so I can draw parallel lines on another egg... That's number 3...
And we cut the egg to pieces...
...and we glue all the pieces to the first egg...
Capped, with a stand from a left-over bit of shell, and ready for another round of plates...
This is going to take a while...
More sooooon!
