Supernatural Props.What Ya Got... 4 Years 2010-2014

Many thanks! Sounds like you're rounding the final turn with yours~ awesome!

I'm trying to nail the items on the weapons box lid and a few larger things in the box. Never found ID and/or source for: Throwing Axe w/ paracord handle, the 17th cent. plug bayonet, correct spot, Dean's flashlight. Almost choked on the Muela in the upper left corner of lid...BW-22c $2,000? Was that right? And then there's the ever elusive machetes, Esso and Chief Permatex cans and Oriental tin. Oh and did the ammo can have any specific caliber markings? It just looked like the larger can we used to use for .50 cal / 5.56mm - but wanted to get the right one if there were markings.

It's funny, I JUST cleaned my office from all the car parts and now it's filling up w/ weapons. Daughter's bf just walked in and saw all this and just kept walking... I gave him the "that's my daughter" look. :)

And whatever trim you need give a yell it may be in the garage.

Lets see if I can help you out.

The Axe with the para cord is a tiny little trowing axe. I remember searching ebay for weeks. I basically just search for Axe and nylon or green nylon, sorted by newest listed and went through the whole list once and just refreshed it every day until I found the one with little metal grommets in the sheath.

The plug bayonet is made by a company named Denix, that bayonet is impossible to find unless you have a rabbit foot up your butt. If I find some ill let everyone know.

Correct Spot?? You mean the spot light?
Handheld or Mounted 1 Million CP SPOTLIGHTHandheld or Mounted 1 Million CP SPOTLIGHT.JPG

I searched for a while and found what I could get as close to and it was a tiered spot light:

Deans flashlight:

Surefire M4 Devastator

There are two kinds: The wrong one:

Notice the lens part has the curved areas

The correct one has less cut out of that makes sense:

This is the correct one:

Note they take 123a 3 Volt batteries they are like 20 bucks for 2 and the flashlight takes 4

The muela you speak of the 13 inch bowie can be found here for 102.us shipped to the US
Cuchillo Muela Modelo BW 22C

On to the machetes,

There are two kinds one for Sam and one for Dean, both the same modes just different color nylon wrap.
They are Frost cutlery. I found one that matches perfect minus the ox head logo. Projectthx138 will be having these commission based on my model, along with the leather sheaths the guys use on the show, so stick with his for a while and those will come up.

Indian Head, Esso Cans, Basically ebay man, there is also this site I use a lot for little things called Searchtempest that allows you to search every city on craigslist.

Oriental tin I found on ebay

The ammo Can? What do you mean?

I stumbled onto the throwing axe late last night during a search and got one. Writing the spot and flash lights and plug bayo down now!! The Muela knife I was talking about has a wood handle and an antler cap - found model # cucmubw22c / 220mm in Argentina priced in Arg. Pesos equivalent to around $300. Pretty close to what Tenaciousbt mentioned. It's the one attached to the lid on the upper left.

Good to know on the machetes - I'll wait and chat w/ Rick on those. Cans: I found and snagged off eBay just this morning a Indian Head can (it wasn't the correct hydraulic brake fluid) but Rubber Lubricant gallon can will work for now. I'll keep searching.

Ammo can: I know I've seen just the standard military, green ammo can in a few trunks like the one below... just wasn't sure if there were caliber specific markings on the side.

I'm doing a couple of shows in May: Dallas Comic Con followed by Comicpalooza in Houston. I'm not expecting to fill the trunk completely but would really like to get the lid pretty close to 100% if possible. So that leaves: the plug bayonet, and I've got to find/make the cross and stake. Hey man, thank you thank you (sic) for taking the time to help. Greatly appreciated.

I can ask Rick about the ammo can as that is not on my list yet. Thanks for that. The esso can I found was not the perfect match but the color pattern is perfect enough to rough up the can like the shows and it will look exactly the same.

Capture.PNG

I will have the middle painted white, then roughed up and sanded to match the shows perfectly. I have a restore place near me that does this stuff all the time.

Ohh they're the smaller width cans huh? Yeah, It wasn't a matter of finding them as much as it was verifying the caliber on the side of the can if there was any. You're saying 7.62? Sounds good. Thanks for the cap and info kyspn!

You're welcome. At least they're easy to find and not like ALOT of the things they use on Supernatural that are Antiques or sometimes it seems almost like 5 made in existance...lol

SO I wanted to give you guys my cannot find list maybe you will have some luck finding some things I cannot. I want to say I have about 95 percent of the trunk, very accurate as well.

Please if you can offer your vast knowledge and screen grabbing goodness help a fellow collector out.

Ammo belt: I have the ammo holder just cannot seem to find the right belt to go along with it

Hahaha. My post come off a little harsher than intended. I forgot to add a smiley face :angel I should always remember the smiley face.

I know man no worries I will start using that, I store everything on my dropbox I wonder if I can just use it to post in a better way instead of moving from dropbox to whatever site then having that site generate a link that makes the photo look good in the thread.

So any takers? These have been pains to find.

You wouldn't think the grappling hook would be hard to find. But then again given how some of the other items I've been searching for is 'Holy Grailish' the hook's probably made from weapons grade titanium, only 6 ever made of which the show owns 1 and someone in this thread owns the other 5 and wants $1.5million each :lol

I know trust me, I sell salt round and I charge 3.50 each, I had a wooden spear heads made, pretty dam accurate. Most accurate one out there, paid 45 to get them made changed 65 shipped. Some people find something for 20 bucks and change 250 for it. That sucks but what are you going to do. Not very ethical but hey they have it you dont right??

You guys have seen this stuff a thousand times but it's all new to me. Open to suggestions and your critique.

So far... 1 bowie & 1 dagger (behind dream catcher) I had and just threw in for now. I'll substitute the dagger for the plug bayonet for now. Not pictured is the cigar box and it's contents and the angel blade which is getting chromed. Items in transit: Dean & Sam's pistols, Chief Permatex can (incorrect version- but good for now), Senator tin, Sam's Kershaw, shotgun to prop lid open, Muela piggy back bowie, jungle 1st aid kit, ammo cans & ww2 holster.

Again, not trying to finish completely but have a couple of shows next month and would like to make a respectable appearance. Fire at will!

Well I'm about half way through this thread and so far I have bought (Screen accurate Indian Head being the latest find) or have booked marked the items I have found.

My question is and I'm sure it was covered in some form pertains to deans clothes

I know he mostly wears the carhartt shirts and I know some of the shirt numbers but i'm confused and was wondering if someone could post what color is each shirt.

Also it was stated in the thread he wears logging boots I'm wonderinf someone knows the brand and model that he wears.

thanks and happy hunting ( i'm going back to read a bunkers worth of pages)

The colors of Dean's Carhartt shirts are pretty much the standard colors, Carhartt doesn't release a bunch of different color variations, usually what you see on screen (blue, green, black, etc) is the color of the shirt. I don't think there's been a case so far that we've noticed of any of his shirts being dyed or anything.

As for his logger boots, it depends on who you ask lol There's been some debate on here and on FJ.com over the actual brand of boot he wears. IMO there's really no way to tell, a few different companies make a loggers boot that all look the same. But again, depends on who you ask.
