That's the highest res I have, but I'm sure someone has better versions out there somewhere.

Damn, I can't find any high res ones anywhere 1.9 billion images, tin eye came back with no results.

I haven't been back in while, there has been alot of updates since then.
Everyones costumes are coming along amazing! Love the Blondie!!!!
I just got around to working on Sweet Pea this week. Ive been sewing everyday for about a month now and not on anything for Sweet Pea... =(
The coat is about 3/4 way there. 49 grommets hand punched and set on one side of the back.
Started the Back pack weapon holder yesterday. lol Don't know what else to call it.
Boots done, rosary made and bracelets.
5 days to go till SDCC...panic!
Keep up all the good work everyone, it was a good idea to come see whats going on.
It gave me a second wind on this costume.

I want Babydoll's sparkly fishnets so badly. If anyone knows where you can find them, please let me know!

I'm sure you can easily find a pair of white thigh high fishnets and glue rhinestones on them or something? If not, peytonriley made a good suggestion. Glitter fishnets ftw!

At this point, I have to state that that is my daughter, and yes, the stockings are too short, from both an authentic and parental point of view. We have to find stockings for girls with long legs.

I was searching again for the fishnets but I think the site that sold them doesnt have them anymore this is the site: SPOOKY BOUTIQUE - Fishnet Tights, Lace Top Thigh High's, Glitter Stocking i found them browsing for "glitter fishnets" and they used to have a picture but they dont anymore
maybe if you guys email the site they can tell you if they still have those...

Awesome job! However for SDCC... that bayonet on your gun isn't gonna pass Con Security. Every year they change their policies but edged weapons unsheathed are always a no-no, same with Baby Doll's sword. They may even tap you for the potato masher. It'll be interesting to see how crazy security is gonna be, last year they made us get our Proton Packs and my Rocketeer pack checked over.:rolleyes

I used a real Gew98 rifle and bayonet for this pic, I certainly won't take it to the Con. Instead, I would like to take a plastic airsoft Mauser 98k rifle (with bolt assembly removed) and rubber bayonet (the blade is so thin, it sags if laid on its side). My daughter's sword is plastic with a rounded edge, a Taekwando practice sword. I'm going to take pictures of both to Security on Thursday (the day I won't go in costume) and discuss it with them before I attempt to bring them in on Friday.

That's about the best I can do. If they don't allow the rifle at all, I have a fake Mauser pistol and bandolier that I can wear. If my daughter can't bring the sword, then she'll carry the empty scabbard.

I need some feminine advice. I'm not able to find real thigh-high stockings for my daughter. The costume "thigh-high" stocking we got came up only over her knee...too short, as you can see in the picture I posted yesterday. She is 5'10" and 140 lbs and the only stockings I can find that might fit are at Nordstrom, but they look too sheer. American Apparel has stockings, but they are sock material. Does anyone know where I can find the right stockings?

You're lucky. Two years ago, wandering security rent-a-cops stopped my daughter four times because of her obviously cartoony Harley Quinn pop gun. We had to get it tagged by Security and even then, she got stopped.

I feel your pain. I'm 5'10" as well, plus I have big legs, so knee high socks might make it to mid-thigh...

Maybe get a pair of black pantyhose, and chop them to fit (then finish off the top with some fabric)?

I know you're pressed for time, but this site offers longer thigh highs: Socks » Socks » Extraordinarily Longer Thigh High « Sock Dreams or these Socks » Socks » E.G. Smith Solid Thigh High Stockings « Sock Dreams They're in Portland, so you may be able to get them faster with priority. Otherwise, I'd say just get two pairs of the ones from Nordstrom and layer them for extra opacity.
