Sucker Punch costume thread

Does anyone know of the source for the Wiseman's Trench scene cover/hat? A USMC Garrison Cover could work except for the fact that the bill is covered in the same material in the movie. I've never seen that done before...
It's a British SD (Service Dress) cap.

For the Wiseman's uniform cap, you can get a repro here:

What Price Glory

The cap badge is from The Royal Welch Regiment. You can usually find it on eBay for less than $10, or you can buy it from this store:

When you're looking for one of these badges, don't buy the bi-metal one (silver and gold as shown here). Get one that is all silver, in order to match the one worn in the movie. Or, if you do buy a bi-metal version, paint it all dull silver.

SG-O and Parkseiii.... THANKS!! I've seen the cover device, may snag one of those. Now to track down the wool trench coat. The sleeve buckles are what's throwing me off on that one....

Babydoll is gonna be my first cosplay. And, this is the sword I've made. Not the best but I have made it with my own two hands and I'm so proud of it!

The trench coat (it's not wool...it's gabardine or poplin) worn in the film is of the Burberry style, which was private purchase for British Army officers in WW1. You can find them today, but because they are Burberry, they are expensive.

Does anyone have Babydoll's holster?

You might have more luck asking if anyone can here can give you ideas on where to _find_ babydoll's holster. Or ask if anyone has had any luck themselves trying to find it. Or post a WTB thread in the junkyard (following the rules for new members of course).

Just posting the same message again and again in this thread will likely not help you reach your goal.

Here's my Baby Doll 1911. You'll be relieved to know that I don't plan to make myself the costume.

Fantastic job on the 1911 Vos! Is it real metal or paint? If it's paint, what brand/color of paint did you use to get that particular color?

I also see that the trigger is black, and I remember someone posting before about it. Is that accurate for the hero version of this gun?

I used Trimite High Reflective Silver...sprayed very thin over a black base coat. The nickel plated 1911 in the 'Art Of' book has a black trigger.

got my decals from epilepticsquirell, the look awesome on my gun <3 <3 I can't thank you enough!

I also picked up my holster from my commissioner today, Jeff does amazing work; I was so lucky he agreed to do this for me. Pictures taken at my work where he dropped it off, so apologize that it's not the best quality/on properly (I didn't double tie the strings for one lol). The whole thing comes apart for packing sake. I'll try to get a better picture later

That looks awesome!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that cost you?

I doubt anyone just happens to have an accurate spare holster lying around. If they do, they either made it and will make you one on commission (though I'm sure they would have chimed in after your multiple requests), or they bought it from one of the many places online that you could buy from also.

Otherwise, requests to purchase something should be relegated to the Junkyard Want to Buy (WTB) thread. Please make future requests in that thread.

In her defense, RPF doesn't let people with less than 20 posts or accounts younger than 45 days create her own thread in Junkyard. (New Member Want to Buy has been used, but even though I don't frequent junkyard, I get the impression it doesn't get the traffic the rest of the threads do. (secondary thought, it looks like posts in that thread, at least, don't add to one's post count))

Not that I can say I condone her current method of attack though.

Research is good. There's a fair number of pages to go through. Start reading.
