Starship project

If you are using rubber molds, then yes. Attatch it. But there are definately advantages to parts breaking down at color changes.

Thanks, that's what I did.

I think you need to create a visual DVD or something that gives people a tutorial on basic model design/building. From the concept to the finished product would be so awesome. I would love to know more about your methods.

Wow. The attention to detail is amazing. I appreciate seeing the building process. It always gives me the feeling I can do it...until I try. :p

"You Sir, are Incredible." to quote a quasi-famous bad guy. Seriously, you have some talent. I've been building models for years and I would really love to learn some of your skills.

Richard,

This is really coming along nicely. :p

I will be in contact soon.

I know this is premature, but I am curious as to how are you planning on lighting this? Or are you planning on lighting this master?

EXCELLENT JOB. :thumbsup :D :thumbsup

Thanks Kurt.

What I'm making now is the form to make the molds from, it'll never be put together etc. After the molds are made I'll cast fiberglass copies, those are the one's that'll be put together and lit.

I'll use neon lighting and LED's, and it'll have an internal armature for mounting.

All the seperate components are finished as far as sculpting goes.

Here's the saucer and nacelle.

Thats too cool. I hope this thing is in my price range, cause it looks outstanding. Im praying that your next kit is an excelsior.

does anybody know of a source of the expandable foram over here in the uk?
your use of the stuff has inspiured me to have a go, even though my skills are no way near as good as yours :eek

Do you have a list that we can get on for updates? I want one of these when they are ready. It will look cool in my bar display case. I've always thought the SOVEREIGN looked like it was going 100mph when it was sitting still.

I interested in also how you have detailed the torpedo lauchers.

Great work. Keep the updates coming.

:eek HOLY SMACK..... MY KNEES JUST BUCKLED.... PLEASE tell me that this is going to be available as a kit. PLEASE.

Top-notch work, my man. Keep us updated on the progress.

Good job.

Rel, I was being rhetorical about the question of availability as a kit. I already knew that. Just going for effect. The progress looks great. I also perused your official website and really like your other work. Keep the updates coming. :D
