Yeah, I really hope she isn't a Skywalker. It'll be a bit too much of a soap opera.

I would be VERY happy if she were a child who trained with luke, or maybe a survivor of some sith experiment or something. Or even a kenobi.

the only problem with her being a kenobi... is two fold

1)she'd have to be a hidden relative of kenobi and the dutches..probably to protect kenobi and his standing in the jedi order. I can see that being a possability. and that kid had a kid and along came rey soon after.

2)in the book Kenobi, you see him as a broken down man, not willing to interact with anyone, let alone a woman who's starting to fall for him. with that novel, I can't see him dropping his ideals and suddenly saying 'frig it, lets do this thing...'.

so, if they do go the obi wan route, it'd have to be a secret offspring with him and the duchess.

Yeah, Kenobi is free of that literary burden now. He could have gotten it from every street corner and been the life of the party for all we know.

Maybe 'ol Kenobi, as I recall Alfred from Batman once saying:"when I was younger I cut quite a swath through the young ladies" or at the very least maybe he had one special lady who he had a kid with.

In a way that would explain him looking the other way with Anakin and Amadala.....

It's odd because while I strongly dislike the idea of Obi-wan fooling around, there is a certain appeal of Rey being a Kenobi for me. Maybe she could be a great niece or something. Lol!
