I refer you to my previous comment about Kenobi.
That really is the closest comparison I can think of from the other SW shows. The acting is fine, the dialog is functional exposition peppered with a bit of character stuff. I did notice a line or two where Lee Jung-jae's delivery felt stiff or weird, due I think to him not being fluent in English. Otherwise, Sol is okay. He has a good scene with Osha. I like the actor, he's got charisma and good chemistry with the actress playing Osha/Mae.
A lot of how I feel about this show will depend on where it goes and how it all wraps up. I do like the look inside the Jedi at their height, there's hints of politicking and worldbuilding there that I enjoyed. The big mystery is "what, exactly, did the Jedi do to create a killer?" which isn't quite as riveting as a proper whodunit, but it's okay.
The only other thing that jumped out at me -- and I will preface this by saying it's not a knock against the cast or the quality of their work -- was the total absence of white men in the first episode, and the presence of only one white man in the second. It doesn't affect the quality of the show, but as a white man myself the large shift from other Star Wars media (and the media landscape in general over most of my life, to be fair) really was noticeable. It's the sort of thing you know has to be a deliberate decision and as such it rankles a bit.
