Cheers, great stuff indeed! It's interesting you mention Subaru, I was following a Legacy last week and thought that it's silver colour could work.

Quick question, do I finish off with a satin clear coat over the silver afterwards? Cant find a definitive on that one.
Thank you Mike, good to know, AND you've saved me some $$If you want screen accurate No clear coat. We never had time for it.
This version of GM15 aka GM15U aka WA914K, looks promising. No idea if it's from before '98 but the color chip is a warm medium gray, so it's on the right track.

I just ordered a can and will report back on how it compares once I get it.
Good to know, sounds like it's cracked (or d**mned close) with the 15W you matched. The can came in today and it's not even close. More of a graphite color than the pewter of 7173. So not a good substitute.
Good to know, many thanksKeep in mind that depending on the type of custom mixed paint you get, it may require a clear coat. In that case, use a semi-gloss clear to match the look of off the shelf auto spray paint with no clear coat.
Well thank you for helpingIt looks good.. And you are more then welcome..
Yes- I'm pretty happy with it so farOk I think this is my new favorite. I took the WA8311 code to the local paint shop and got a tiny amount to test. I brushed some on a piece of styrene on top of a light primer coat. This paint is specifically meant to be clear coated, so I gave it a semi-gloss clear. For the ultimate test, I took this swatch outside and compared it against my screen-used boomerang and a PADD painted in an older formula that's also really close:
