Welcome, 89! Have to say, it's great seeing new people pop up forever (and not-so-new lurkers start making themselves known). I haven't been to a prop party before, but everything points to it being a great place to meet people and see their work!

We are supposed to wear long white robes and bask in the presence of........................

I'd say costumes are ok if you are themed to your props but it may be difficult to attend the After Party with the boys and gal (not too sure how many are attending so I will leave it vague!)

I'd say costumes are ok if you are themed to your props but it may be difficult to attend the After Party with the boys and gal (not too sure how many are attending so I will leave it vague!)

I disagree. I think it would be awesome. I guess it all boils down to what you are comfortable with. If you want to wear a costume, I say go for it. You will not be turned away. If anything, you just might get more attention. And we all know how much cosplayers hate attention.

PH, I have no idea. I just know that I should be on there as a tentative, assuming that I find someone to either split a room with, a couch to sleep on, or someone puts my hotel room in their name and I pay them for it. I did some calling around and didn't find a single hotel or motel within a rough 10-mile radius that would let an unaccompanied under-21 get a room under his own name (though I can't say that I didn't miss any, so if someone in the area knows of one for sure, it'd be appreciated if you pass the info along to me)

Did you try the two or three in Lake Forest? The Holiday Inn was one of them.
