I was scouring the interwebs for images of prequel stunt hilts as I am updating the Zett Jukkasa / Whie Malreaux hilt. In that search i saw this pic:
It immediately caught my eye since yes that looks like a real prop from the prequels. I went in to the link that was from 8 and a half years ago and this is what it said:

Its a conversation of a person claiming that he worked on the film for 12 months and was gifted that prop. At first it seems like bold claim, how could you prove that this might be the real thing. Well the prop it self looks like most of the casts we have seen so that checks the box. it even has the mill vibration pattern seen o all of them in the grooves.
Now for the color, this is what might be debatable, however all the real props ive seen have the red and black buttons painted... I have yet to see this combination, but then looking at some photo shoots I think this is it.
You can tell that there is a almost grayish knob that well it could be just washed out on the pic or paint just rubbed off from usage. but it does look like it to me.
If anyone has a higher resolution image of this picture, please share so we can look closer.
