Hi all!

So I was asked if I was going to be coming to this and actually hadn't heard about it until then. I do costumes though, not props. Anywho thought I should post on here that I should be in and my fiance as well if you're still taking on people. I've obviously never been and am actually fairly new to the RPF in general and thought it would be cool to put faces to avatars. I know that some people mentioned wearing costumes and others have said against it so I think I may wear my Star Trek Corset and Shrug getup. That way if I stand out to much I can just put a sweater on or something lol! I wonder if I should make my fiance dress up as well??? I made his Dr Horrible costume which isn't to elaborate and can be altered if need be to be more normal.

I've read this entire thread and quite a bit of last years so this should be interesting!

So looking at my schedule that Mon, i think im going to not be able to make the party, but as i get the conference schedule i will let you guys know when im free if any one still wants to meet up.

Id stay for the party but Dental School has gotta come first.

lol I guess I meant normal clothes as in street clothes. I'm pretty sure even a hard core geek would not define wearing a full on "mad hatter" or "princess nuala" costume as normal clothing. But more power to any who do!

Also, seeing as I'm the lady, I think I'll bring my guy instead. :lol

And I promise not to go naked as doing so apparently would cause everyone to vomit and that would definitely be no fun.

Well things are lookign ab it more iffy for me now, it's looking like my dad's position is going to get cut.

HOWEVER
I am still trying to plan for being there, rather than not, as last-minute planning these things is a PITA.

With that said, I'm still looking for someone to room with.

Well maybe naked wouldn't be so bad ......:love......but I doubt Dave & Busters would approve. Kinda hard to tell whos a guy or girl on here...sorry about that..:lol

lol, you'll only see me there if I can find someone to room with! I've got a few props ready to bring (unfortunately, none I made myself, yet), and I might have a few more by the time the party rolls around, including POSSIBLY a completely unique, never-before-built prop.

Welcome, 89! Have to say, it's great seeing new people pop up forever (and not-so-new lurkers start making themselves known). I haven't been to a prop party before, but everything points to it being a great place to meet people and see their work!
