SLAVE 1. 1/6 SCALE BUILD

Epic build, I hope I get a chance to maybe see it FACTS someday ?

Next challenge is the cockpit wondow, any idea how they will be made ?

So, GEEK1138, any chance you could use this as an upscaled blank and use a pantograph to reduce it by, say, one-twelfth to tool a sculpt for casting or 3D scanning? It'd be lovely to have an actual accurate 1:72 Slave I... ;)

FACTS???
I have printed the windshield, which I have made into a buck to be vac-formed in 6mm PETG

I'm sorry, I don't have permission to share the info I received re-dimensions of the original model

I love how GEEK1138 says," I have printed the windshield, which I have made into a buck to be vac-formed in 6mm PETG" like it's no big deal. "Oh I just built a 1/6th Slave I after I knocked out a 5' Falcon and then went and did some brain surgery and performed a few miracles today.

OK, so a little update for an awful lot of fiddly work...the Wing Wells. Easily the most awkward and frustrating part of the build to get right. As far as I can discern there are 7 different elements per well. One, I have only just discovered so am still modelling and printing it, as we speak. Nearly there though

Awesome guys, thanks. So...the painting has begun. It's gonna be emotional, that's for sure. With the exception of maybe Boba Fett's helmet I would say this is the best paint job in Star Wars? I'm gonna take it slow and get as much help as possible from past masters.
So if you wanna paint the Mona Lisa, u need the right colours and these most definitely are not...

Not sure where this info comes from...found it online, but the greens are totally wrong. For the skirt I am using this pink and red but I've over sprayed with some Boxcar red and grime from Archive X and several washes and rubbing back with Scotchbrite. Needs more work but I think it'll deliver the result I'm looking for. The wings are done and were pretty easy

Here's a glimpse
