This was the first project run that I joined on here and was excited to build my own Obi Wan saber. Disappointing to see it still unfinished, is this how these runs usually pan out?

I understand Russ has expanded his family in this time and having two toddlers myself appreciate they can be a handful but still.

Any info on when this will be finished would be good?

His last visit to the RPF was two weeks ago, his last post - selling, still - was in September.

Odds are no, this will not get done this year, unless he's actually making the pommels quietly and will suddenly burst onto the thread with them all completed.

Hi guys sorry for the long delay been working away alot.
But all pommels are machined and finished and going off to be polished and chromed this week

due to the cost of machining a small amount I could only do the solid pommels they are all threaded and fit the booster like a glove I will post up some pics tonight

No not to late I've made a few extras but here's the pommel before polish and chrome just uploading a video to show you it threading on to the booster

Russ, I asked for a multi piece one some time ago in the thread, don't know exactly if you considered me in the list, but if not I decline my position in favor of an interested one, since in the meanwhile I was able to get one by other sources.
