That was just a snippet of the letter, voicing a frustration that I'm not alone in feeling. The rest was rather nice, and I even told him I wasn't trying to be a jerk, just rather was hoping to be holding it by the 5th, not having it shipping out.
But from the snippet I posted, I see how it was taken in that context.

I am actually glad that if a part came in for the project that was not to spec that they sent it back to be redone. For the price of these I want this to be as dead on to the real ones as possible. I do not mind waiting an extra week as much as I would mind if efx compromised on the accuracy of details to get it out the door earlier.
I know that there would not be anyone in this thread but there is the possibility that someone somewhere might mention it if a detail part was off by 1/64th of an inch or something. :lol

What if the shipment was the acrylic rods and they were PINK? Can you imagine?
A week is nothing...NMR you did come off as somewhat ranty...I know that the product delay means we are delayed in getting the product...but MFX could have just as easily NOT told us and we woudl have been late. With the post system and the amount shipping, I highly doubt you would have recieved one by the 5th as it was.
As with anything, its a big waiting game and a week is NOTHING in life to waste on could-haves. I am happy enough that they are only a week off. I am excited as all get out, but not at the expense of being upset over a delay.
Manufacturing the world over has delays at times for more than a week.
You'll feel as a giddy school girl when it arrives (me too!) and this will all seem rather foolish, no?

I guess I did come off as a goof. For what it's worth, I have had a lot of stress these past few weeks. My dad just recently had an 8 hour surgery for his cancer, still in the hospital unconscious, and knowing the sonic was coming was a small bright spot that was temporarily squashed. So I guess I did vent under the pressure. I'll go send Neill an apology right now.

Thanks for your patience.
The first of the sonics shipped today but only to UK customers and NOT ALL OF THEM so don't panic if you're in the UK and don't have an email. Not being biased to UK customers just the Fed-Ex deadline was too early for us to book a pick up and get international orders away today. The first of those will go out tomorrow. Chances are, with the UK postal system as it is, some of the US customers will get theirs before the UK ones!
As you can imagine we have A LOT to ship so it'll be an ongoing process throughout this week and next week. Naturally we're going on first come first served basis so the first people to order are at the front of the queue.
I hope you like them and, as I said, don't panic if you don't get an email in the next few days as it's going to take at least a week if not slightly longer to get them all out of the door.
