I have been busy on other projects but I always seem to drift back to the Star Destroyer.
I have finished making the 8 side guns and some detail parts,
The guns are painted in Insignia white then a black wash was applied.

A bit more detailing going on, It is never ending and thanks to Jason Eaton doing a little scratch building on his Hunkerinthebunker videos I have managed to get some enthusiasm back on the SD.

More detailing lots of resin greeblies being made for this behemoth. There are a smashing of kit parts as well.

Thats a lot of detail. Love it.

Washing the part before applying to the SD it is very important as I use a release agent on my molds so they last a little longer.


a old sieve stops them going down the sink.

Always add a little of soap liquid to wash your parts.

Use hot water to rinse the parts and place on paper towel the hot water will help to dry them quicker.

I will also add some kit parts into the mix.

Soon we will be fitting LED's and fiber optics.

We are coming to the end of the detailing on the top, we have flipped on its back to detail the overhangs and install the lights.
