The more I look at his arm thing its not round or square

It looks more hexogonal, about 3 inches each side with something inside to act a spacer/wedge...like part of a think rubber glove

Sweet! I am prepping to tackle this build as well. I love Scarecrow.

I feel like the people who cosplayed the first scarecrow are the ones diving in to do the new one as well (myself included) haha. But reference is scant as of now unfortunately. I found a trailer of the new challenge map for scarecrow that had one of the only decent shots of his back apparatus though. Its around 00:23
