Limited Run RUN CLOSED * DL-44 ESB Blaster Machined Parts Set * RUN CLOSED

Ace tends to have a better selection of those little items.

Again, Ace is the place!!

i agree with ace, they are much smaller of a store, but have a larger verity. if that makes any sense, the only reason i always mention lowes is my uncle works there and i get a hell of a discount through him.

im paying a little over 2 bucks for spray paint, i usually just snap him a screen capture and he's already got it in the car when i get there. but i agree with you guys, when it comes to hardware, ace IS the place :cool

I picked up this box of amazing DL-44 kits from the PO this morning. Dumbfounded, I am! Amazing work to all parties involved, no matter how small a contribution!

Could someone please direct me to some information for the exact place to drill a hole on a Denix for the ESP Bespin blaster Sight? Thanks.

Did you reply to my September 20th email?

If not that would be why you have not received a shipping notice yet.

I never received that email. Just double checked too. I had posted earlier and was told they were going out in a particular order due to certain parts not ready. Can you send another email?

Haven't gotten a shipping invoice yet. Mine must not have gone out yet?

I just wanted to clear up my shipping method.

I ship the easiest kits first so I can get the most out in the shortest amount of time.

This may seem unfair but if your wanting a full build or a lot of optional labor I am sure that you do not want me to rush the work to get it shipped faster.

This project has a lot of moving parts and I have so many email replies from each person that I have had to create separate folders for each member so that I can review their info more easily and even then there are items that need clarification.

Since Friday I have shipped 6 kits and I have 3 pending.

would like to send out a couple notices every day but as the optional labor requested increases, the amount of kits I can ship will decrease.

I'm working 10-12 hours a day at my job on the F-35 program here at Cherry point so I am pretty much on the computer from the time I get up till the time I go to bed trying to get the orders worked out.

I apologize for pace of the shipping but I am doing the best I can.

Not trying to rush anything or even worried on my end in the least. I've just been so busy and lost track of where this all is. Was only wondering if I missed something, like an e-mail in the spam folder.

FYI: This is where it was left off after I asked if I missed the shipping email.

My message above was on Sept 26th and follow up comments are on the same page below it ( I think it's page 49 in the thread).

Are you asking about the hole location for the scope bracket??

It's always best to email me because I can't always check the forum.

Man, those accurized Denixes are gorgeous. I wish I'd gotten into this hobby in time to get in on that run :)

If you act quickly you can get an accurized Denix from my ROTJ Run, I am about to order them so if you want one get send me an email.

Noted. I didn't at the time because based on replies by you and others it didn't appear that I had missed anything and was just awaiting my turn. But we've got it all settled so no big deal. Woohoo! Now, soon I'll have 3 blaster builds to get started on.

As an FYI on resin scopes, a little antique gold rub n buff does freaking wonders on making it convincing.

Guys, I might be late to the party: But I didn't wanna go through the whole bluing-process, so I experimented with some black transparent spray paint (the kind you use for tail lights on cars to fade them black)

Here is the result after one quick go to see how it would turn out:
(Please do not pay attention to my disgusting bathroom floor)

And honestly, it looks freaking antique!
The pic doesn't do the finish justice, and I just focused on the front half/barrel, I'm gonna go over the rest later.

It is still a bit shiny but that can easily be fixed with some steel wool and/or matt clearcoat.

I think it looks real nice! This is after spraying the whole Denix?

Maybe get some shots outside, in indirect sunlight, we'll get a better grasp of how the finish looks that way.
