this is the picture im trying to go by, i honestly dont know what bolts to go with, i think im just going to order both versions if possible

boba is it possible to order a extra set of bolts that way in the future if we learn exactly which bolts go where im covered?

I can't speak to the bolt head thickness issue so I will leave that to those that have figured that out

It would be too complicated for the shop to have 3-4 versions of mauser machining.

Just as in all of my projects I practically assemble the raw parts onto the mauser for simplified shipping.

If you get the side counter bored pistons I'll drill the holes and stick the screws in them :)

awesome thank you!!

You can order extra bolts if you want

Is a set of bolts with 1x thick and 1x standard an option or strictly matching sets?

There is no standard set, you can order any combination you want. The price per bolt is $7.50 for either version, I just listed a "set" price in my email to simplify things

I'll be ordering x2 Deluxe Machined scopes for myself but I've also ordered a scope for a friend & he asked me the difference between the Deluxe & basic & I wasn't sure

is the basic machining just a cleaned up solid cast? I think he'll want the look through version

I take it that the Scope rings thread inside the body of the scope? My original M19 has some tiny screws (that I've never touched) do in not sure how it's held together

How does the light socket fit?

just figuring out how it all goes together :lol

So pleased that this run is getting closer

thanks

Basic includes the Feet being machined flat and drilled and tapped for the bolts and the side is drilled to receive the Light socket

Deluxe includes all of the basic machining plus it is counter bored to accept the glass lenses and the thread scope rings, it may not be completely see through. M

y last run include a very expensive process to do that and it was not enough to add to the scope. The hole was there but you had to hold it at the right angle to see an elliptical spot of light.

The scope rings to thread in to the scope. I'm don't know which screws you are referring to.

It will sit in the drill out hole and be held in place with a light dab of epoxy

Is there any chance of getting images that relate to each of these choices? It seems the terms are very familiar to many of us, but this is my first foray into SW blasters and I have no idea what I'm meant to be deciding with each of these items.

thanks for that very helpful :)

I'll be sending my order in as soon as my friend gets back to me

I honestly don't know what I was thinking of when I mentioned screws, lesson to self to actually look at the thing before typing :facepalm

Everything was discussed in this thread and my other greeblies thread.

I could try to sort through it all but only posting the picture s does not convey the discussion associated with the pictures, so it's best to read the info so you can make better informed decisions.

Order request sent :) this is going to be Great! Many Thanks to you boba for doing this run! Great work :)

Lets not forget about Think Jedi. If he hadn't been available to make the scopes and pistons this project would be as awesome as it is.

I know that making the waxes for the scopes if very labor intensive and I appreciate his willingness to do this for the group.
