MTB your rocket pack is looking great! I realize you've already cut all your braided hoses but for anyone else who's going to do it. If you wrap some tape around the hose where your cut is going to be and then cut through the tape and hose with a cut off wheel it works pretty well.
That would have been a good idea! I'm not sure it would have worked, only because it was a perfect fit to the fittings that the tape would have made it too big.

But I can try it if I do the ready of them!

MTB: there is an additional thing you can add to the engine boosters for added realism. The orifices are there. It was kinda secret but I’ll post a picture here later and you can decide if you want to add it. It’s kinda cool and inexpensive. Stay tuned.

Here are the additional copper wire runs you can add to the Boosters:

Edit: 2 of the front holes would be likely taken by the 2 large copper tubes as per assembly manual. Improvise as needed. [emoji23]

I tried to do the upper one but the tube kept bending/kinking. I don't have the right tools to bend. I may give it another go, not sure

Yes you would need a pipe bender for that type of bending. Or you can fill the tube with sand, cap the ends with something then bend it; that will keep it from collapsing when bending.

Since I used the front holes to attach to the bottom these were the only holes left to connect.

Meh, I don't know if I like it. Looks off to me, also you will never see it lol

You need solid core wire. Not hollow tubing. Lol. It’s meant for thinner diameter up there lol.

Also, those details are exactly at the vent height. They are meant to be seen through the vents.

It’s optional. No worries!

It's looking good...I mean, these are engines that could get hot real fast; hence the diameter of those pipes seems to be right.

Small update:
I've been able to putty, sand primer, putty, sand, primer, putty, sand, primer for a few weeks now. I just gave all pieces and wet sand and a one coat of black gloss. I ran out of paint or I would have done the small parts too. Once I get more paint I'll do the rest. I'm happy with the results so far!

Lesson #1:
Make sure you're fully done prepping before painting. I forgot that I printed a later version of the center hull and didn't reprint the tanks so the holes do not line up. my plan was to fill the holes in and drill new ones but since so much time had passed I forgot about it and painted. Not a big deal though I fixed it but it would have been nice to do it before painting the first time. Luckily it's just the base coat. View attachment 1440088

Lol yep! I was mad at myself that I forgot. But it turned out ok. I just gave it a wet sand and repainted it. I'll do about 3 more full coats then call it done.
