Robocop Reboot (Pre-release)

I know this is probably a stupid question, but,,,, Has anyone else seen any other police officers? just asking because I mean could this be what they are all wearing in the movie?. could this just be the first version of his armor?... I already know the answers but I am just holding on to a dream that this is not the final costume..

Bingo. It's as though the desigers consciously made the decision to create a suit that could be easily replicated on a 6" action figure.

Yeah, all seems a bit cheap and straight to DVD. I only wish ANYBODY on production is actually reading ANY of this, and would love to pass on, NOOOOO, YOU MUPPETS, YOU HAVE RUINED THIS, WITH YOUR GIRLIE GENERIC COBRA COMMANDER WHIZZ BANG WHIRR CHEAP LATEX ENHANCED O'NEILL WETSUIT, ahhh thats better.

I believe that holster is a stand in to hold the gun off camera so it can be drawn from where its supposed to come from.

The worst thing is that it doesn't even look like a cool holster. It literally looks like a holster that a dad made for his sons Capgun by taking some vinyl and sewing it together. Even molding the holster into the leg would of been Better then that.

Also just curious....where the hell is the side-stand, rear brake and the gear shifter. How does he park his pike? He climbs off and carefully leans it against a lamp post or wall?

That's what makes us all think that that holster will never be seen on-screen, it's just a stand-in, some place for the actor to draw from a CGI holster.

Speaking of the actor... who the hell is playing Robo, anyway?

In the original his right hand was shot off before they turned him into Robocop. Plus lefties are a rare breed and somewhat "special". To be clear I am a lefty, and my mother always told me I was special! :lol
 
I think the whole costume is kinda poorly designed, the old style suit was so much better, the new one kinda reminds me of Batman, not a cyborg police officer :/
 
Well they certainly went with a no name actor which might be a good thing. Apparently the OCP viral advertising site has a pic of the new Ed 209 on it. http://www.omnicorp.com/
It looks too cgi and transformer like but i'd crap myself if i saw it coming at me lol
