Ripper Helmet from Tank Girl --post 74-PAINTED UP!

wow! that's kinda cool! all i have been thinking of is different kinds of tribal paint.
i guess this could be painted in so many different ways!

I was considering a super slick kinda paint, as well.

I mean, I assume each mask was painted to represent the personality of each ripper, right?

got some dremeling done on the ripper helmet. little bit cut it like butter Because of the way the front is, its easy to breather in the helmet. cut out the eyes and I can see a lot clearer instead of the the two small holes.

Here are some pics of today's paint up. i might darken the white portion, but if i do, they glow in the dark paint won't be as bright. hope you guys dig it.

That looks awesome! I would like to see what it would look like if the outer portion of the "eye" was painted grey, or even a deep red, leaving just the eye portion of the eye section black.

Just a heads up, there's a screen worn Ripper helmet on the Bay at the moment - some really really good photos of it showing detail.

The helmet will look lovely next to my other screen used Tank Girl stuff. Got a Tank Girl and a Jet Girl costume, the backpack Tank Girl is wearing at the beginning of the movie and a Water and Power bottle.

I already have 3 real ripper helmets (and now 2 replicas) so I didn't want to go too high. I only placed that first bid to make it harder for the seller to end the listing early, but I did plan on going back in to increase it later.

That helmet is really interesting to me because it's clearly shown in the trailer. Also, the ears on mine are not split open like that. On my two hero helmets, the neck clips are functional but the ear hinges and ear clips are only there for appearances. I assume it's because the one you just bought was worn over a full make-up with ears and mine were not.
