my Black Series Re-armored Boba Fett to Jango Fett helmet Conversion

This has been a project 3 years in the making, picked up a re-armored Boba Fett off Ebay for a cheap 3 years ago with the intentions of turning it into a Jango Fett styled helmet, I started working on it, then got busy with life, so it ended up in a box - pulled it out of said box a week ago and started really going hard at it. this is my progress so far - I filled in the dome dent and sanded down some of the molded in battle damage, and some I left as I plan to weather it a bit anyway, found two color blues that matched as close as I could find at my local Walmart, a tube of Rub n Buff Silver and some 3mm black pinstriping.

I modified the rangefinder earcap to be lower and not stick out as much as seen in the last photo. I've never pinstriped anything in my life, so I was quite happy with successfully getting the two black bands around the dome on the first try, and only using two long pieces, no splicing or piecing smaller lengths together. Hoping to have this all wrapped up by the weekend maybe?

That turned out well. A local GameStop has a Fett prototype helmet I was thinking about getting and converting. This makes a very persuasive argument for that possibility.

Thank you! Rub n Buff silver leaf I went back and touched up a couple spots on the back of the ear caps, that I realized after, should have been silver too, but that i had painted blue instead, but it was an easy fix!
