All, I haven't posted for quite some time but I thought I'd share some pics the project I've just finished. In summary:
- Real M1 helmet that I've had since I was a child (the liner was shot so I replaced it with a replica).
- IR sight kit from the amazing Chefs Creations (here in the UK)
- Earpiece / Microphone / Camera from the amazing Mooncrest Models (here in the UK)
- The correct camera lens via Ebay
- Lobster plates and front plate from CaptainBlacks on Etsy (a good weight to them considering they are 3D prints)
- perforated rubber matting for the inside surface of the lobster plates
- 3D printed pulse rifle rounds from AWPRINTS123 on Etsy (painted with AK chrome) - just adds a bit of colour to the helmet
- Vintage webbing from Ebay
- Humbrol enamels
- Stove polish to tone down the paintjob
- Chrome paint applied with a scotch pad for chips and scratches.
- helmet stand from parts I had on hand
