Put some filler primer on some parts and started printing the left hand shroud. I’m now away for a few days but am itching to get stuck in when I get back.

Reworked Spas12 pump grip with longer rails and a more ‘Spas 12’ profile, printed in black pla+ so I can get the toughened plastic look of the original with lots of sanding but no paint, Rounded the nose of the Spas heat shield(cage) to emulate the pressed steel original..ordered some grey/green paint which resembles the phosphate coating look of the spas cage and I widened the cutout slot on the cage so the Remington barrel assembly can be seen a little better.

Pulse Rifle caseless ammo two colour print , I went for the same aesthetics as the PR grenade and increased the original size up to 30mm by 10.5mm for a better fit.

I always use a sanding block and remove the layer lines before I spot fill, then primer and work up from 80 grit up to 1200 grit wet sanding..

I use car body spot filler in a tube which is a lot thinner and smoother (like toothpaste) than regular filler and easier to apply.

Finally got around to painting the Thompson, krink graffiti ink base coat then Higgins black magic ink diluted then brought up to full black..the bolt is Alclad polished aluminium.
