Prometheus (Post-release)

Either it was a mistake for people to assume 10-11-12, or they found logistics more difficult or expensive due to shipping and releasing on a non-release day and decided to release on Tuesday along with everything else.

Me, I think the first is more likely.. that everyone saw the 10-11-12 thing going on (whatever that is, I honestly haven't followed it), and when Fox announced the release for an unspecified date in October, everyone just jumped to the conclusion. I don't think there was ever an official announcement with a specific date other than 10-9. I'm not complaining, I get it two days early, I'll pick it up on the way home Tuesday. :)

I agree, it's just strange to put a date out there, and then not follow it. Hopefully they have something up their sleeves either way!

Maybe they'll release the bluray on Tuesday and then on Thursday announce an extended edition. :p

Well, to be fair the cast in ALIEN did know what was going to happen as they could see how it was all set up and had to be filmed a few times due to the alien puppet not initially breaking though the shirt. The amount of blood and gore ejected was what was unexpected, especially for Veronica Cartwright who's reaction and subsequent fall was the most dramatic. :)
very important to be natural :thumbsup

Weyland/Tyrell Corporation, Merged Ridleyverse`s, clever buggers Im in heaven.:popcorn Till something else comes to light.

Said it before and I`ll say it again, your a conduit to all things awesome.
That would be awesome to connect the two with the sequel in the works

The ultimate SRS retro-fit, the articles got some buzz. Even if its just a quirky ploy, damn genius. Put the new Blade Runner in with a potential two more Prometheus movies and its all very interesting. Never would have thought to intertwine these characters and Ive never seen it discussed before anywhere, genius.

Even if its subtle i'll geek out!

So who plays the young Tyrell?....wait a sec...is that a group of villagers with torches approaching from the east?:lol

Didnt notice that, Willies post was the first time Ive seen it theorised. Shame the conversation didnt carry on.

Heck I've been discussing connections between the 2 films for 10+ years.

;)

Also, hey, at one point, pulse rifles made an appearance in the previs.

I really like this design for an egg chamber. Maybe we'll get to see it in a film someday.
